RE: RNS due re gas production17 Aug 2022 12:58
so on 27th april angs listed a set of events that told us many elements were 100% complete, and that wet commissioning would start on 18th may with live gas production 1st June,, that's 2 weeks from wet commissioning to production, since then we have had:
18th come and go with no word of wet commissioning
rns 24th may telling that a lot of the mechanical work is now complete and wet commissioning should start with first gas middle of june, so in the space of 4 weeks we are told that the list of complete tasks was not real, that wet commissioning is about to start and gas will be 2 further weeks away.
so 3 weeks later around the time they said first gas would be forthcoming, they RNS on 10thJune telling us that mechanical and electrical work would not be completed until the following week and that they have handed over to a commissioning specialist...before this works is complete? seriously?
28th June ( 2 further weeks they tell us that leak testing is complete and commissioning will start, so they handed it over to a commissioning specialist who only 2 weeks later are starting their work? They go on to state that the first gas will be in 2 weeks' time, ie middle of July.
5th July still pressure testing the system, which they told us was done back at the beginning of June,
12 the July they tell us that all is going well and the first gas will be due 18th July.
18th July they tell us that all electrical connections to sites 80 plus connections and connections to boilers, switch gear and compressors, etc will be complete by 20th July and then the system-wide testing of the SCADA can begin. Oh and we will be having our first gas on 22nd July.
22nd July they tell us that they are testing gas introduced to the system and testing the compressors and instrument equipment..etc
29th July communication issues holding this all up.
NOW my point is this, given all the elements that they described that needed to be undertaken to fully commission first gas, we can all NOW see that a lot of time would be needed to get to first gas as pronounced on 27th April. all that has been described since adds up to about 8 weeks' work... so to tell us on 27th April that we would have our first gas on 1st June was clearly wrong. It was either a lie. or it was a statement made by someone who has no clue of the process and is, therefore, no fit to be running this company.... BTW they raised £3mill just around the time they told us the first gas was coming.... so when the dust settles and we have gas production at the next AGM some questions need to be answered and someone has to pay the price with their job.
