My main point and I think we agree upon most is EEE's potential to break the mould as far as following the lassonde curve is concerned. I have been researching this a fair bit and may post some findings when I have time but in short I think that the exceptional factors involved with EEE and Pitfield make it more likely than not that we will see a much shallower and shorter orphan period.

Nobody with an ounce credibility could categorically answer that in the affirmative before feasibility studies. He laid out the factors that point to it being so and confirmed that it is the 'more viable alternative', which is about as bullish as you can be in the circumstances.

Yes very funny, we could 'end up selling' when we shouldn't. Just like this black cat ladyboy was trying to persuade folk to do just before a huge maiden MRE. It certainly has some front, but mostly silicone I'd suspect.

Not happy if this is long term, my S&S ISA is T212. I have my SIPP with HL. I prefer the graphs etc you get with T212 to HL, but thinking of transferring ISA out of T212 due to this. Is Interactive Investor good? Seems only to cost a flat rate of £5/month? Any good features, quick transactions etc?

Big-K, unfortunately despite the bad week I have stronger 'plums' than that. A salutary lesson though. As sad as it is nowadays, you need to be vigilant, sceptical, and trust nothing. It goes against my personality but my family's health and future come first.
