Agreed. Given the small number of remaining private investors relative to most list companies they could theoretically have had an open offer or part open offer. But I guess the plan was to get new blood invested. Legal & General tells the story. As has been already pointed out given that SRX is AIM listed the criteria is tough for a company like that and SRX have fitted the bill. Thank you for pointing that out. Since mid January we have chart wise higher highs and higher lows. The 20 SMA crossed the 50 SMA recently and as you say the 50 SMA is advancing on the 200 MA. If indeed the 50 crosses the 200 we will have a golden cross which is a strong signal for a further advance in the share price and if noticed by the traders, traders may get interested. However remember that this a largely illiquid stock. The prospective commissioning of the new Gangama mine could drive it as well as the suggested future hardening price of rutile.

The share price has gone up. As private shareholders without being allowed to buy shares at a discount and turn them for a profit we would like the share price to increase. Get it? Realise value which is the duty of a ceo and his board.

Yes - the option for shares RNS stated that L&G were new shareholders. The few of us like Gib, Corbs and myself know that there is a good story; we have been in the stock for long enough!!! John Sisay told me after the AGM last July that the intention was to seek a full listing and that Numis were appointed to advance the stock. The idea is to realise value.

Agreed. For what it is worth my guess is that Pala have taken a profit on a few from those shares just taken up and moved them for XYZ who wanted more. Either way, if you are right and Pala want to sell at a profit compared to their original 2011 investment to which they have added since, they have to find a way. I guess that if the intention is to list this on the main market there will need to be a free float of 25% in advance or some method found to persuade the authorities to allow it to list. I am not a City person and so I am only guessing but it is very frustrating. You Corbine me etc want to see value realised. And I guess Vlad!!

If you pick up on this evening what is your take on the late trades today? Pala shedding some stock? We know from the company that the placing was over subscribed; therefore some demand.

There seems to be a lot of shuffling round of stock. Perhaps after all this time Gibraltar has sold some!!

I think that it is more of a case that investors do not understand the company and so not understand the implications of the Shandong agreement announced on 22.03.16 and today's announcement. The way the share price has climbed over the past 2 hours suggests that investors are beginning to understand. It will be interesting to see who from China the board appoints to join them on the board.

Besides Legal & General who the company have disclosed as a new investor we do not know who else has joined in the placing save that Pala and Neon have increased their holdings. I can tell from the figures that Neon have added 1,794,400 shares. After theirs and Pala's we are left with 48,010,766 shares, if my maths is correct, the homes for which are unknown save for Legal & General and their amount has not been disclose save that we can assume that it is below 3%.

My own view is that it will bring in American money and if as hoped the listing is successful the opening price will be good and thus have a knock on effect on London. But DYOR

Veldt has understood it. The Shandong deal alone means potentially large income to the company. The latest deal is most impressive. Hence the placing. One known, one potential possibilities are awaited 1) Lodging of the Nasdaq application (research the timing of what happens by looking into the Nasdaq timetable -google it) 2. Release of the suspension in China. Is it possible before the Euro's commence on 10th June? Bear in mind the company has tie ups with certain premiership clubs and the Chinese recently announced an intention to drive football quality forward to make them a leading power amongst the countries in the world playing and competing in the game. Finally may they be endeavouring to tie up other deals. And as far as the board is concerned you do not announce further prospective appointments if you do not mean business!!

rate the stock a buy with a target of 31 pence up from 25 pence.

According to the advfn chart the 50day SMA crossed the 200day SMA on Friday. According to www.iii te 50 day SMA is about to cross the 200 SMA. Either way this could prove interesting from a TA point of view.
