Melville Bay is protected. Iron (a constituent of ilmenite) affects plankton growth thus less food for those inhabiting the sea. It is highly likely that the WW Fund would raise an objection. Thus leaving aside the issue of permafrost hampering meaningful drilling which in turn interferes with quantum of resource.

The island has Walrus plus birds which have a highly protected status.

Alba's potential Environmental Impact Assessment is up the creek. That is imo something that
George Frangeskides ought to address openly.

I call them gullies but the gullies which some of you have said take ilmenite down from the source lands up in the sea. Therefore you can see that there are circuitous problems.

There were therefore good reasons why Bluejay discarded the TBS licence which they held and settled on Dundas.

It was announced earlier this year that Bluejay had drilled up to a depth of 30 metres (at Moriusaq) in the last field season. They had started work at Iterlak but have tweeted recently that they are drilling at Iterlak and quote "have not hit the basement"'

Just because an area exists not far from Dundas does not mean that it has the same plusses. TBS does however appear to have various negatives.

bakoven - the Bluejay beaches are to a sufficient degree sheltered compared to the beaches that form the Alba licence which for a start are split into three different licensed areas, which is not helpful, of which one faces a northerly direction - hence a problem with permafrost.

Permafrost affects the constituents of ilmenite and make it very difficult to drill through. Therefore I do not believe that they can justifiably come up with a mineral resource estimate or if they follow JORC rules a JORC resource. Further unlike Bluejay I do not believe that Alba has the money to afford consultants like SRK to travel to, inspect the Thule beaches test and prepare an (and this is the important word) INDEPENDENT report.
