Hi Slightly confused by your posting. I wasn't aware that earnings on the 14th (I assume you mean interim account). Do you think that WTG are now on a solid footing ??? Sorry I can't reconcile to that statement because of the silence from the BoD. Please could you revise your posting. In particular the heading LOGICAL, somewhat misleading
Hi Matt, The interim's were more than decent, IMO were very impressive. In particular I like the acquisition of Lombard Recycling Limited and Data Shred Limited. Whilst not a big acquisition (revenue £1.6 mill) it will add to the group turnover and enhance the footprint of RST. Like you I will continue to hold. Could do with a broker's re-rating. DAR
stupid computer or website
Hi Grumpy, I would suggest that you don't spend any money from Watchstone before you get it. After Watchstone you will be eating at MacD's. Nice fall in sp today of 5%. What fun ATB

Hi AEM, Have a great day at Revival, for personal reasons I am missing the wonderful event this year. I was at Festival of speed on the Saturday, as usual an excellent day. Do you go to both events each year? Just before FOS my daughter's Mazda failed it's MOT (again), however this time terminal. So my daughter (who was also at FOS) was trying (and failing) to persuade me to buy her a new car. Don't reply to Phoenix comment holistic impotence retreat. ATB DAR
So we have now seen 500p - people are still buying. Interim's due on the 11th Sept: ----------------- 4 days to top up
Many thanks for making that clearer. I'll wait until WTG's response towards the end of October. No need to apologize
HI GS, Any reason why you think October. Would be nice to get closure on SGH. Regards DAR
AEM Very well put, the rational shown is the reason why the SFO will not take any action. And if the SFO does not take any action then there will be no claim by YLF. I do think that the SFO will take years before making the statement not in the public interest..... I really can't give a timetable for SGH case but in my view this will be "settled out of court". My initial point re: legal resources was an answer to TOASTAL's question yesterday. With regards to WTG now. Then the BoD do need to give some guidance ASAP on the current status of the company, "a trading update" or the "interim accounts". Anything else will take years................. Cheers
Hello Arsenal, Totally agree with all you said. This company is a long term and no reason to sell --- I may very well top up as I also think that a bid is in the offering. BTW I assume that AFC means ARSENAL FOR the CHAMPIONSHIP oh joy..................... I support the "better" team in North London
My point was fraud hasn't been proven in the eyes of the law. Therefore no proof and then no fraud. Thinking it doesn't make it happen
Hi all, On the 3rd September the first half results were issued, (see below). This is almost certainly why the sp has retreated. In my opinion ISAT is still a sound company. ATB DAR First half results from Inmarsat showed sales growth slowed slightly and profits declined in the second quarter but the satellite operator kept full year guidance unchanged. Revenues of $688.2m for the six months to 30 June were up 9.4% year-on-year after the second quarter sales growth softened to 7.7% as maritime and enterprise sales retreated further.
Hello Freddie and all, I have been holding and watching the share price fall for some time. Of course I am concerned, nobody like to see their capital disappear. IMO ISAT is a very sound company. There are 3 three reasons for the weakness in the share price. 1/ ISAT rejected a takeover bid from Softbank, does anyone know if Softbank has "gone away" 2/ ISAT were subject to a court case, IMO weak, however does anyone know the current situation. 3/ ISAT were being "shorted" but I think thae has also "gone away" Grateful if these questions could be answered. ATB DAR
In short NO. Every time shares are purchased there is a disclaimer along the lines "you may get back less than invested". I stop reading the disclaimer years ago. So in effect Rob Terry and the BoD of quindell are not liable for losses made by pi's Fundamentally that is why any action by YLF will fail. Sorry
misunderstood me.............. Like you I have no more opinion. My observation it will not be decided in court but "out of court" settlement. Regards
Yes --- I have wondered about Mr Fielding as he was a "link" between Watchstone and SGH. His whereabouts interesting and possibly relevant. However I am confused about KTC All the best DAR
Hello addicknt, My observation re: the current employees not being responsible, was not from a legal point of view but from a individual point of view, people will suffer because of activities of a few (namely the previous BoD). Although RT was the main man..................... The remainder of the BoD (even to Non ex's) share the responsibility of the corporate actions. No blame can be laid at the door of the tea lady.
TWG lol :) :) Of course TWG is WTG --------------- we have known for for some time Watchstone are completely muddled.
I suspect that there was some motivation for the SFO to start this action (I am not going to speculate what that was). But the findings of the SFO are probably "gathering dust" and the original motivation is no longer pressing. You are correct the SFO are suffering from a distinct shortage of resources. Most of the employees at the time of Quindell are no longer employed at Watchstone, so the SFO would take action against a company and employees who have not committed any questionable action. ATB
