RE: Avanti still the same...17 Aug 2018 21:07
I still do not think that the persistent extreme views of pessimism are sincere in any way. Also, I admit that I hold shares in Avanti and I hope and believe that it will do well.
All of us appreciate the mixed views and the genuine questions and challenges to balance the hope and optimism some of us may have for the future. There is nothing wrong with seeking reassurances on how the stated funding needs will be met by Avanti. It is refreshing to read about all things and gain insight with caution.
There is no benefit in people harping on about mistakes that were made years ago as that does not mean certain failure in the future. Sounds like disgruntled employees or others who did not sell when they were losing money. I do have a problem with the doom mongers who just go on and on about 'the end is nigh'. They are not seeking salvation for the Avanti investors because of the goodness in their hearts but just seem to want to be proven right by causing a demise of the company with their curses.
Companies turn corners and prospects do improve so why the repeated mentions of mistakes in the past when the company may actually have learnt valuable lessons from those events?. I can give dozens of examples of companies that came back from the brink and prospered. Apple is a good one.
Similarly, we have a load of examples where companies failed. I see nothing wrong with hope and optimism but I do despair when we just have lopsided comments wishing us a wipeout!
