It will feel better when they are £1
Apparently if you hold 1000 shares you get a free ticket + accommodation at Monaco GP.
I think all of the bad news is out with this share. They have cash, they are opening factories, and desirable product. Just need steady 3-4% increases back up to 80p which is fair value, and then a rocket over £1 once covid stabilises.
Maybe we should have a whip round. We could buy the company!!
Eddie Stobart.
Just have to have a bit of faith in due process, but for me already accepted 100% loss. Wonder how much the ii’s are saying about this. Can’t believe they will write off £500m + without some legal challenge?
If it’s a going concern they can’t simply write off existing s/h. Nobody wants this company wound up, they might trim some assets but ultimately (hopefully) the profit figures are accurate. If not, everyone is fooked.
What’s the source for that?
I suspect Freeh figured it out.
I agree!
Agreed. Money had to go somewhere. The fact that’s it’s off book suggests it might be tricky to find. Clearly someone thinks there is value in shares. Back to £40 by year end anyone??????!!!!
Who has said 0p? Can’t see that, they have been sorting out this pickle while we have speculated only! If they are going after individuals, suggests they dont fancy their chances going after nmc. More news to come. I am not getting excited, but better than forced bankruptcy. How can you hide $4billion, that’s the billion dollar question! Clearly someone is buying the adr’s.
$10, wtf
ADR at $9???
There is an article on Alliance News that the whole board was replaced yesterday by good quality NEDs with objective of sorting governance. Should imagine that explains the positive ADR movement. No suggestion of bankruptcy, and an attempt to steady the ship. Quite a positive move.
A listing allows everything to be out in the open. Dilution is the most likely outcome. Given the status of major shareholders a course of action to simply wipe out one set of shareholders in the hope that another set will cough up is unlikely. If NMC is a going concern, then the loans can be restructured, however some assets will need to be sold to aid cash flow.
They will sell some assets, try criminal proceedings, recover what they can and identify parties to fraud. It will be a fire sale, with some lenders taking as big a hit as shareholders. I have 20 years to try and recover losses in my pension fund. Stings. Deliberately went for ftse100 to avoid this type of thing.
It’s ok found it!!
What scheme is that, I have 1000 shares.
So it’s up 20% and you are not happy???
