The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
I really do feel sorry for all that are in a loss right now. I was holding until the last minute and the £1 level, sadly I had to sell at £1 as I'd rather see this share go back up without me on board then me going down in a minus.
People say nothing has changed, but I don't see it that way. Ever since AS was ramping his Avacta as a Covid stock and managed to rocket the SP, I kind of trusted him, it looked hell promising.
Ever since AS completed his sneaky-dirty 2nd placing and got HIS money over OUR BACK, he is now mostly concentrating on the long term cancer treatment and the 'magical' POC test is no longer his No 1 priority.
I also never understood why the hell was he raising £45m if he was so sure the POC test will be selling soon and making him far more than the £45m raised?!
Something stinks here and I'm glad I'm out of this share.
Only for the sake of all that are now late to sell, I hope I'm wrong and there is a recovery ahead for you guys.
Best of luck!
I've just spent time reading this board with the latest posts and watching the presentation from this evening.
Far too many rampers in this board making up things that AS did not say or at least did not mean!
The bottom line is, the saliva test is still not ready but AS believes it will be made/it will work. If it works, it will sell in 10s of millions a month... well yes it will but IF it works and when the partners are found to produce in these numbers.
I appreciate people here will not like my view but this is the reality and explains why the SP dropped this afternoon.
Can we expect SP to go up before some concrete evidence of a working test? Well hard to see that one! All we have now is a hope the test will work, no ramping or deramping will change the SP, not even the MMs. GLA
Kammy18, As I said in an earlier post, I've sold last week when I lost the confidence in this share. The around 50p opening and further fall tomorrow is my personal prediction given the latest RNS.
Personally I'd come back in if the SP went to 40p or less, Otherwise wouldn't take a gamble with this share.
Please do note, this is not deramping just my opinion... GLA
Opening at around 50p and falling throughout the day IMO!
What a slap in the face! This will go down to 30-40p in the morning. Sorry for those who bought at 50% up or so.
I sold this share last week when I lost all the confidence in it, and as a lack of an official confirmation of a design freeze.
I was tempted to buy back earlier this morning but something just wasn't right... well for once my feeling was right lol
Long story regarding Avacta, you have to research Avacta for the answer. In short, Avacta's potential is enormous but still only a potential...likely to materialize.
A bit more of patience for Novacyt and it'll be back on a real up!

Not sure why would Avacta publish this today? Sorry if already discussed here.
The only saliva test known to me at the moment is Avacta and their saliva test currently in development.
In my opinion, the only people that will lose are up to 12 000 BA employees and that is absolutely tragic!
As far as the shareholders are concerned this could well play very positive, if not the first thing in the morning then shortly after any potential panic settles. The drastic move IAG is taking, is to protect it's investors and profits.
We may well see IAG shares opening higher!
Pretty much just a fake news with misleading headline.
This is about antibody tests, still useless but even if any good only 1mn can be produced by the summer and 5mn some time next year... I've just read the whole story in Daily Mail.
Just watching live Donald Trump and his daily update... well, he just said, they (The US) are two days away from a new Saliva test that will help increase the testing. Is this something to do with Avacta & Cytiva ? Or is there another company coming up with this kind of test, hmmm
