That’s me done, a nice little purchase to get me to where I was hoping to be prior to the real fun starting to happen and as an added bonus my average slightly reduced.
Looking forward to Macs updates throughout the day as I believe you suggested last week that there would be an increase to the frequency of these, apologies if have have got that wrong, but to confirm I find your post reassuring, very much appreciated.
Thanks both, this has helped a lot - TBF the fact that the initial example offered by OldSpursFan has been worked through and then adjusted has been most useful.
Looking forward to my final purchase tomorrow morning, assuming/hoping I can buy at or below my current average.
Plenty of great information receive and researched over the last few day assuming you ignore the clap trap delivered by the hand pumps!!
Having followed the breadcrumbs dropped by the likes of OldSpursfan, Kia, Ian, Tillywizz, Saxon, Mac and many others I will be increasing my holding on Tuesday morning by 25% assuming the SP opens under my current average.
Not significant compared to some, but on a relative basis this is a display of confidence, faith in the BOD.
Oldspursfan - I am indeed rather new to all this if that what you mean by grasshopper, but, I am diligent and have set myself some rule to play by to which number one is, 'seek and take advice and then research it myself'.
I have been following this bb since my initial investment in EUA in Jan and whilst a lot of what is posted is toxic, if you silence the 'Handpumps' I think the overall crew are super helpful.
PS: i nearly called myself YoungSpursFan, but I didn't want to tread on your toes, I'm looking forward to getting my sit back next season even if we currently prob need to win 5 out of 5 to have a chance of top four #unlikly, no research required lol
oldspursfan - and thus I have been educated, shall follow your bread crumbs to the information referred to and then hopefully this will evolve my understand to the point that I can consider further investment in EUA, thanks again.
Thnaks for chipping in Bumble1968, appreciated
thanks, Avizandum/ Monkey70
thanks Ste, I am trying the get my head around it - previous RI event have required a further investment.
CAW1 - But the inner workings of every RI event are very different are they not? I simply wondered if any indication has been previously given as to what the specifics of a RI event might be relevant to EUA .
As for the risk of such an event being the same for any company, this is of course not true at all, as the variables change daily, as it stands I think it is very unlikely that such an event will occur here, however, that doesn't mean I shouldn't consider the possibility. Should a non binding offer be taken off the table at that point the risk of an RI event would increase etc
I have deposited an appropriate amount of money within my ISA account ready to purchase ‘if’ the SP reduces significantly, but at this stage unless the drop is significant enough to actually cause a worthwhile adjustment to my average I will probably just hold, reason being, I am slightly concerned that should a RI event be the short term outcome that I’ll be causing myself a cashflow issue and/or forcing myself to have to consider selling off other shares that I consider to be the safest part of my program.
So my question is; Does anyone have an opinion as to what an RI event may look like for EUA should this be the route that they take
PS – my question is exclusively posed to those that are committed to seeing this through, to confirm, I have no interest in reducing my current position only educating myself further on the potential of RI event so that I might consider further EUA investment.
Morning All,
Rather new to posting but, today I have a Major RNS feeling and thus wanted to share.
I started investing early Jan so there are many more invested from a time perspective than myself and whilst I’ve made a few trades along the way that have at some point caused me concern i.e. buying after the Japanese RNS at 33p, I have managed to get my average down to 27p by buying small amounts regularly.
I’ve brought based on information delivered by a number of you, more the direction to information than the small talk posted on the bb itself and that my point really - if you are like me an investor that does not have the experience to find the information out first hand that’s no excuse not to follow the bread crumbs and read the research that the likes of Ian provide, btw, on every occasion you follow the same principle with the naasayers you’ll see that they are talking absolute rubbish.
End of the day this is your investment and it’s your responsibility to judge the Information available, just don’t sell at this exciting time based on some half arse clap trap posted by some keyboard warrior without a cause.
Thank you to everyone that makes this bb great to follow
I cant see what any negativity could be for - most if not all of the sensible people within this BB were simply hoping for a Yes vote in order to strength further the BOD's hand, unless the SP went through the roof and tempted a few to withdrawn the value of their initial investment I am not entirely sure it matters what the SP does today.
