Donald I think you misunderstood, I don’t care what your risk tolerance is. I am more concerned by your motives for posting, as some of your comments don’t seem to based on fact.

Do you mean the HIBISCUS delay, that has now started? As we have not had a delay on Bex?

What news last week do you see as not good?

While we don’t yet have a big Pharma partner, we have done very well with grants and soft funding in the last 12 months…do you not think somewhere along the line the data will have been analysed before these funds were granted?

Do you not consider the EIC and the several other “high quality ii’s” that came on board in Feb as significant? Have they not done any due diligence before investing?

Why do you seem to want us to cash in our findings at the earliest chance instead of getting maximum shareholder value?

We already have everything in place to add significant value to both Bex and Traumakine, you seem to be missing either the patience or the tolerance for risk that are required here.

Would you have us cash in on Haematokine now for £100k because the chances are it will never pass preclinical?

I like this part and did question if we had received all the payments after the results RNS, so it is nice to get some clarity…though ballpark figures might have been better -

NDA anyone? Is this the reason we have not had an update on Bex for a while?

I wouldn’t mind another raise if it gets us closer to market before we have to start negations with the big boys. Thought I would still not be surprised to find we already have an NDA with someone and negotiations are ongoing.
Of the grants already announced has it been confirmed that we have received all funds or is any of that likely to still be due? Especially the DoD grant, the wording in the latest presentation isn’t really clear.

This would be a fantastic step forward, I’m not sure it would happen until we are closer to market but the sooner we move on from AIM the better IMO.

The research team at broker Peel Hunt believes there is a role for intravenous interferon beta-1a (IFN beta-1a) treatments of the type being pioneered by Faron Pharmaceuticals (LON:FARN) as a frontline approach for the effects of Covid.

The commentary followed on from the news that Faron has begun dosing patients for a phase II/III study to assess the efficacy of its IFN beta-1a formulation, Traumakine, in patients with the illness.

The asset is also being developed by Faron for the potential treatment of acute respiratory distress syndrome, severe kidney injury and cardiac protection.

“We agree with that company, that IFNb (Faron’s formulation and treatment paradigm) is a promising asset in the treatment of coronavirus,” Peel Hunt said in a note to clients.

“Despite our successes with vaccines, it is very clear that hospital treatment of coronavirus patients is here to stay and much can still be improved upon in their care/available treatments.”

Well it looks like the mm’s kept a lid on opening by making any buys NT, they are offering again now so let the fun really begin.

It’s great to see the first patient dosed RNS! Our first primary endpoint is day 14, so I wonder is it realistic that we may have an initial readout in 4 - 6 weeks?

With our low free float we could easily smash £5 today.

Unless I am mistaken the last Bex update was using data up to the end of April, so even allowing two weeks for the data to be summarised that leaves 14 weeks worth of data to be announced…
I said it a couple of weeks ago, but as the silence continues the possibility of us being tied up in an NDA increases IMO.
As for Traumakine I’m surprised we have not had anything yet, clearly there has been some delay in HIBISCUS let’s hope it progresses soon.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see an RNS in the morning and then another on Thursday with the half year results, we have seen this before from Markku.

I’m not sure even the mighty Zen could have predicted the positive results we are seeing from Bex ;)
And if he did I think the numbers being thrown around would have been significantly higher.
