MW has started that the placing was not being drawn up whilst interviews were taking place, therefore he now needs to come out and say why cash has been raised so quickly. There is no mention of who took the placing either.

The RNS states "Concluding the proposed sale of the Company's tax losses which are held in the Company's subsidiary Mercator Gold Australia Pty Ltd" however the recording from earlier today suggests they are "sketching" out a proposal, which is it?

There has clearly been a need to raise cash at such short notice and it has nothing to do with the reasons stated in the RNS imo, I wouldn't be surprised to see Helium back on the agenda.

They've taken an initial deposit but didn't state the amount, this could be anything from 50k - 100k imo. The wet season over at Blue Mountain ends around March and so they will want to crack on with plans to hit the ground running. Pointless raising any less than £500k if you're going to need to tap the market again in 6 months, cut once and cut deep.

There is some misconception here that the funds from tax credits will be received immediately, it doesn't work like that unfortunately. Deals on this level are often structured and I wouldn't be surprised to see funds being received over a period of months.

I wouldn't read too much into those trades Mooching, there were a number of large trades printed across the market at the same time yesterday. My fah packet calcs suggest he has 20-25m to go which should be cleared next week.
