Having been in HUR since 2005 I was always assured by a former BoD member that Kerogen were the major bondholders. I have no reason to think otherwise……..

I have always had this suspicion that Kerogen, PRC, and HUR are linked - by PRC’s wish to have oversea fuel assets which will support the Belt and Road initiative.
CA’s motive ultimately is financial profit. CA may well have wind of this theory.
There is no other feasible reason - than that above - why Kerogen are still in HUR ? Kerogen is mainland Chinese money under a Western umbrella. Please draw your own conspiracy theories.. All IMO.

Schlemiel - Agree. When I worked as a commodities broker for Merrill( MLPFS) In the ‘70’s, the Taiwan Govt took a huge position against Govt sugar purchases. They made a huge paper profit - tens of $millions - with which those corrupt Govt officials bought flats - so they could entertain their ‘starlet’ under-20’s hooker girlfriends. This was a bunch of 60year old men. Nothing changes……..

Done. However, do you really think the hedge funds are going to allow the ban on shorting. I think not! They will argue liquidity and freedom in markets. Shorting should only be allowed as a provable corporate ‘hedge’ against a physical position, as in the commodities futures markets.
