1+only1 - I think Nahab sees this as a research company and not a 'need-to-generate-profits' company. He is so rich it doesn't matter what happens to the company financially. Having said that, why not use other peoples money? Ours! We are making it available to him by buying his shares and giving his own/free equity a huge multiple on what he paid. Ship + Hydrogen power is so far apart its like setting up MacDonalds on Jupiter. Great idea, but not the result required for the shareholders.

Hi DB - The value of the share is the price/time the transaction was struck.

joe64 - All buys have an equal sell to make it a transaction. They don't buy the shares from the company's treasury. They buy them from a seller. Demand - prepared to pay a higher level - pushes the price up, and vice versa.
