Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I made that prediction out of sheer HUR RNS experience over the last 18 years.
Rarely has the end of day SP been positive.
I am cynical regarding this share. ....And a little bitter.
The usual. - unchanged......
I would like to Rishi Sunak and Sue Braverman on HUR’s BoD!
Replacing Maris and his cronies…
Now, there’s a team!!!
Goldenbadger1. - Excellent post. Thank you.just looks like we’re all fook’d !
Perhaps young Senseman - or someone - could draft at such an email..
Seriously, he's good at writing such presentations. ...
Instead of sending whiny pressure messages to Rees Mogg et al., May I suggest a huge wad of emails be sent to every shareholder, private and institutional, to call for the removal of Maris and his cabal of cronies. Let them know our sentiments, and sow this seed of true discontent.
Think that's pretty concise, clear, and accurate.
Simples - Your opinions are just fine. I find them interesting.
Ignore the jealous.
"Indeed, informing potential investors they will be treated like second class citizens through the popular press does wonders for share values."
Fair point, Simples
My statement suggestion made out of sheer frustration...
Haggis - Yes ! I agree - good man! Go for it.! The newspapers ought to be informed about the BoD's dogged refusal to answer. They love an ugly story....
Basically, everyone is frustrated and fed up with HUR, and especially it's inert BoD. Their 'policy' seems to be sit on their hands whilst the PoO cash rolls in. Without a better idea that's probably the best option. However, they ARE the BoD, and are supposed to inform their shareholders of their intentions, and the company's forward thinking strategy. I think they are incapable of a 'better idea' on any level !
Tempers will fray, and people will ramp and de-ramp just to get something happening. In the meantime, the MMs are lowering the opening bids daily. ....
There is really nothing left to say on this BB.
Don’t think Boris will be coming back after making $150K for a single dinner speech. The dosh is always useful. He has a large extended family to support…..
Simples - Correct ! None! Opinions are just that. Guesses!
5p wouldn’t surprise me.
Trouble is , if one exits HUR, what do you invest the money into?
This HUE SP defying logic is a quandary thing.
Couldn’t agree more!
Independent being the key word there…..
I just can’t trust Maris et al.
Maybeyes-1342hrs - I said the very same thing years ago. Was told by a former Director of HUR who thought the same. Kerogen were the bondholders and PRC money behind it all. The BoD at the time didn’t really care where the money came from, as long as they got it. Kerogen we’re keen, ready, and immediate to invest. Remember, at that time the HUR mantra and belief was of billions of barrels. Billions! China, flush with money, and a booming economy, was buying access to energy commodities for the ‘belt and road initiative’ . £500million? Peanuts!
"There are little of smaller fry they could buy eg SDX ".....
....Just someone who's long SDX, and trying to ramp, or exit, any way possible.
Everyone talks their book.
That would be just fine for me.
Personally, I think CA are in the proverbial as much as us. I think they expected a much bigger upside in SP, like us. Their adding shares was a bad judgement call.
There is no optimism, and C A selling would just lower the price considerably.
No plan, no management, no Govt support, no alternative money generating option. Ostrich-sand scenario. I’m not selling, but have written this share off to stay sane……..
The thing is that Maris (and gang) doesn't necessarily want a take over. They have no skin in the game, and probably would stand to lose their jobs for incompetence. They are going to get their 'contract' undeserved bonuses - whatever, and whenever the outcome! In the meantime, they are enjoying fat cat incomes without doing anything corporately creative. The PoO is doing it all for them. They are just going to sit on their hands. SP ? No interest, as they don't have any shares. They certainly don't care a toss about shareholder. We are just a stone in their shoe.
This share defies logic.
It is very unloved, as is the management. It has a very bad reputation, and is not trusted. Bad history.
It needs some serious positive publicity. Ask yourself, would you buy this share today?
Not sure I would.
