Welcome aboard Andy great share to hold i have kept buying on any dips in the market .The dividend is back as well In October we announced the intention to resume paying dividends semi-annually, fixed at 80% of Underlying EPS based on the most recently completed six-month period. Today the Board are declaring an interim dividend for the six-month period ending 30 September 2020 of 8.40 pence per share. Payment will be made on Friday 19 February 2021 to shareholders on the register at close of business on Friday 8 January 2021. The interim dividend will be a Property Income Distribution and no SCRIP alternative will be offered.
looking to see if there are any other companies similar to APF listed in the uk . I already own DUKE and TRR am hoping to add Altius when it is added to trading 212 any others would be of interest thank you . And Brexit looks like it has taken it toll on the share price today shame as seemed to be picking up a head of steam
The markets have been so Topsy turvy of late one week a share is down then next few days it is the highest riser in ftse. Seems to be what i call flavour of the month .Hopefully Anglo pacific will have their turn soon as markets move away from tech and realise this share price is close to bargain territory. This is the 4th time recently the share price has tried to climb only to hit what i believe is the bottom price of around £1 . With an xd date on the horizon and surely a climb in Coking coal
Iron ore
Copper
Vanadium
Uranium
Thermal Coal prices into 2021 here is hoping we see the dizzy heights of £1.30- £1.60 again soon good luck to all who hold APF ... A Pleasure to read to comment on this board some excellent insights into the company
Thank you for your input i decided to add a few more shares with the 5p drop but will keep most of my powder dry for the time being .The markets are as you say volatile at the moment and patience is often rewarded “The stock market is designed to transfer money from the active to the patient.” Being one of my favourite quotes
Tracking TRIG to top up on any share weakness . Today it has dropped 5p am i right in thinking as they are offering new share placement finishing on 12th Dec this will drop to around £1.25 per share or is todays drop a good buying opportunity any help appreciated
Anglo Pacific is a great company and the dividend yield is a great draw. Happy to pick up my 4 dividend payments a year .Buy around £1 or on share price drops and sit back long term investment for me . Was not that long ago this share was trading at around £1.60 . The vaccine news would indicate that a light is at the end of the tunnel regarding covid . More demand will be good for Anglo Pacific
looking forward to APF results should not be much longer i am guessing after buybacks have finished . Buybacks are going well seem to be getting them at a lower price than when they 1st started .................
So with results and ex dividend date coming up soon surely every share bought back will no longer have to pay dividend out . This must be a saving in itself .. as shares held in treasury do not receive dividend Also i think Julian and the team are quite astute with better results coming q3 and q4 share price will slowly pick up making the buy back shares bought at a reasonable price as off today 1,033,871 ordinary shares are held in treasury ... Long term holder and fan off this stock
I really like Anglo pacific group nice to see the shares heading in the right direction been tough watching the price drop of late but patience is rewarded over time strong company and good yield holding for long term and have taken advantage of dips to top up .....Looking forward to next trading update
No charge for withdrawing funds . Not long to clear few days if it is a large amount they sometimes pay you in chunks eg £3000 might be returned as 3 X £1000 over couple of days that kind of thing as it is basically free trading account i see this as a minor issue > plenty of you tube videos of trading 212 would recommend you watch a few before you decide
Several share buying companies now have commission free trade trading eg Freetrade and trading 212 even allowing fractional share purchases of £1 . I have used Trading 212 several times to buy APF shares on any dips in the market and prefer to drip feed money into my investments rather than purchase all in one transaction . As i like to average down on my investments and with no commission can purchase as often as i like .. .I lam a big fan of this share and it looks like the tide is turning for the better good luck to all who hold Anglo pacific group
yes a good quality share and a very good discount price for mid to long term hold adding on any dips .. Land securities i have topped up after the share price fall yesterday another great entry point for them as well
