It relates to the Purchase of Cend T/A Myprotein and subsequent dilution of the shareholding the previous owner received. It's a THG appeal of an earlier Court Decision. I'm not totally sure on the implications as very hard to judge what financial loss was suffered as the shares in question rose in value from £29m to excess of £170m in the same time frame. Earlier court stated that they could not make an order to issue more shares to compensate as it would affect the other shareholders (dilution)
Crafty,
you are not wrong. I saw some paperwork from H&B using THG Templates late summer 2023. Not legal stuff, but not something that would have been done until after ink had dried on the Contracts. I was frustrated at how long it took for the big reveal
Looks like something maybe going down at Heinz. Every Brand appears to default to that same bland landing page. surely a temporary situation whilst a major update is going on in the background? No way to get to Heinz to Home and no announcements about ceasing to do DTC for example, so that is odd?
Maybe the servers are just down but it is intriguing none the less
Shorts vs Longs have one advantage, if a business goes bust whilst shorted there is no capital gains tax. That is their margin, nothing more. shorting a non-vulnerable stock is otherwise no different to being long, but with a major downside of not knowing their buy price when they need to unbundle. Shorting THG makes no sense, Ingenuity needs capital but the other two divisions can provide most of that so they are not dependent on outside investment to the point they will go bust.
Oke, you always talk through a well researched game, but you do make it up on occasion. I'm too lazy to go through the R&A's but can you summarise why you keep repeating £60m Interest on £180m of debt? who is paying 30%+ interest on debt? are you including capital payback or do you genuinely have evidence that THG are paying 3rd word country interest rates?

Isn't it a requirement to release an RNS if the deal is off? which would mean negotiations are still in play. This could be because they are closing in on a deal or stuck at a point of no agreement. They are, however still talking or there would be an RNS
you are so full of sh*t Albercos. one day old account only posting on this board. 7? times today but never before. bought at 62 but ever comment before or sell at this weeks numbers when your rhetoric has been;
"I personally believe anymore what MM forecasts, he has shown to be a good visionary but an average if not bad manager. Every year he come with new excuses: "
"so my guess is: Apollo will walk awaympairments, non-continuing categories, huge stock compensations, tremendously enormous adjusted items, etc"
"A year ago we received a 170 bid and we said no. Today the company is in a worst shape"
"the organic is underperforming the market growth (both in revenues and profitability).
So organically we have a retail a business that grow less than the market, and a tech business that requires a lot of CAPEX and don't grow as expected, plus a gigantic back-office structure."
you must know people can read you posting history? if you've bagged 40%+ profit and think everything is going to fail why haven't you sold? if you believe in the long term future why post so many negative opinions? maybe it's just me that thinks doubling my money on a stock and then creating an account to say how poorly it has done and how the bleak the future is, but I'm here for the long term looks like, smells like and no doubt taste like sh*te
so talk me through this Albercros, you are here speculatively so are looking for a short term gain? yet on your first day only post negative short term opinions on the share? We can all pretend to be wise by admitting the long term potential whilst rubbishing the short term but nobody here for a speculative position would be spouting the crap you have today if you were looking for gain based on a share price increase
Gaddes, I invested here for the up potential of Ingenuity but the vast capital cost of getting it up and running means it's not viable in isolation in my opinion. Ingenuity needs Nutrition/Beauty and Nutrition/Beauty needs Ingenuity. every time one of those scale their business it improves margins on the others
