As for QBT... well I'm invested there and here but realise they are completely different animals. QBT is a gamble but some would argue that not so long ago Argo was thought of the same way. Anyway I live in hope... for both stocks to reach their full potential.

...the blinkin' mining machines bought, installed and fired up! Dilution, debt or even a whip round down the local pub as a long term holder I don't really care how it is funded. If in five years time Argo are making multi billion pounds profit per year it really won't matter a jot.

Yes I know the Septics don't like 'dilution'... who does. In an ideal world I would be the sole shareholder of Argo and it would be all mine, mine MINE! We don't live in that world so let's just accept that one way or another the money will have to be found.

@COLINB... Good Luck with your investment here. I think there are a lot of us here that think the same as you. I'm trying to keep both feet on the ground where QBT is concerned in particular with some of the predictions of future valuations are concerned. I think that QBT has great potential but I'm also mindful of the risks. I want to see where we are in 12 - 18 months time and bare in mind this is a short term outlook. All being well QBT will have progressed with further patents on chip development which could set the Crypto-currency mining world on fire. If QBT can licence this development to interested partners then the licences will add very significant value to the company. Add onto this a 'royalty' fee for each (QBT Technology) chip produced by these partners and well, it's big cigars and champagne time. It is also possible that QBT could set up it's own mining programme with the profit from this used to fund future projects. With success will come the prospect of Joint Ventures and possibly even complete Take Overs. If ANY of these scenarios present themselves then QBT market capitalisation would be in the Billions. There are of course a lot of 'ifs' in this but it is possible that it could happen. We can all dream I suppose.

The detractors will laugh at the above but don't let these people put you off investing. As long as you are fully aware of the risks then you'll be alright.

The second part of my post relates to my last post (Sat 1747)thanking jonesrichard for his work in getting QBT noticed on Stocktwits etc. I'd like to point out that there are others who I omitted to mention (please forgive me) in particular FigTreeHarry who always has a positive outlook for QBT. Some people I know will call FTH a 'ramper', well if he is then it is wasted on me as I am fully invested here and unfortunately cannot put any more funds in!

This is an exciting time to be invested in QBT and I'm sure that it will be a bit of a roller-coaster ride over the next few months. All I can advise is 'Hang on tight and don't let go!'

...that the sentiment remains positive and the momentum is maintained. It would be unrealistic not to see some pull back especially after a big jump i.e. profit taking (nothing wrong in that imho) this would be followed by consolidatation and increased market capitalisation. This is certainly achievable IF the news keeps coming... positive news, then I can only see good things ahead for the company and investors. I think more news on the R & D front will get the right attention both with ii and crypty mining companies/sector giants who may decide to take a greater interest. It wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility to have a large valuation placed on the company and be bought outright. Let's face it QBT is a 'minnow' but for these giants to spunk billions on buying out a minnow such as QBT IS a possibility. Who knows...

I'd still like QBT to have a lot more US exposure... just sayin'

All being well with momentum in the R & D etc and going into 2022 - 2023 what are peoples thoughts on an eventual move to the NASDAQ? Considering the sector I think any move over to the US would be positive for QBT and investor alike.

In response to Obelix (wasn't he the big fat one with stripy strides?) I agree that some sort of publicity drive wouldn't go amiss. I don't suppose QBT has a very large PR Dept. though... but some of the posters here are doing a very good job in talking about QBT on media sites like Twitter and Stocktwits etc... well Done(!) and keep it up!

Some of the figures being bandied about are incredible. As a shareholder I can only dream about such things but realistically I'd be over the moon if we got to 5p - 8p by the end of the year... even maintaining our current price to the next lot of news.

I agree with a previous commentator who said that 2022 was going to be a very important year for Quantum Blockchain Technologies... a year with very positive outcomes.

... that this mornings RNS was 'rubbish'. They may prove to be correct.

I am a simple man and as somebody who knows very little about micro-chips, graphics cards, GPUs I will admit that it is 'all Greek to me' but I read the RNSand then after a second cup of tea I re-read it. Compared to some of the previous RNSs CLP/QBT have issued this RNS was good. In fact very good!

I like the great enthusiasm of the majority of the QBT bb crowd... Yes I know there is a lot of ramping, some of which is just exuberance and some of which is... well, lets say there is an agenda. To be honest, if it values my investment higher, so be it. You won't find me complaining!

Then of course there are the 'Doom and Gloom' merchants and much like the Rampers the De-Rampers are either naturally miserable barstewards... the Victor Meldrews of the London Stock Exchange (There will have been a great many ejaculations of, "I DON'T belieeeeve IT!" after this mornings RNS) and then there are the others... with an agenda, whether employed by a third party or for their own selfish reasons. I understand their motives... i don't like it but I understand it.

Quantum Blockchain Technologies IS a gamble BUT it's a good gamble so give it time and a proper a chance. If it all goes tits up well, C'est la vie! Anyway, time for a drop of The Macallan, well, it IS afternoon!

Right now I'd rather be invested than not.

As for yesterdays unauthorised release and todays apology... it's not the first time and it won't be the last. Trivia in the big picture. Ask yourself this. What value do you put on Argo's market capitalisation in 3, 5 and 10 years? Apply this question to the share price.

Of course if you are a Trader and not a long term investor don't worry about it. Horses for courses as they say...

@oilboil... I agree with you. These bbs are simply a sound board for a 'few' individual investors to sound off and wind eachother up. Personally I ignore the OTT statements whether it be Ramper or De-Ramper.

I concur with musicman_999... drip feeding is a sensible tactic. I've made the mistake of investing all at once only to wish I'd waited a little. I suppose I'm impatient in that respect.

@600Thieves... I think the main reason you hit upon is that Argo are relatively 'early' in their evolution. You really do have to think long term. I realise that the younger investors will view 12 - 24 months as long term whereas I see 'long term' as a minimum of 5 years. It is as simple as that. Yes, on a day to day basis Argo IS a frustrating stock for some and i feel it too but I'm prepared to give it a little more time. Argo is i believe heavily traded and that is evident by examining the charts over a few weeks.

"How will we ever achieve fair value?" A very pertinent question and my simple reply to it would be that in time the fundamentals will improve to such a degree that it will be almost impossible to hold it back. Market dynamics will dictate the fair value but that will take time... and of course Argo relies somewhat on Bitcoin to maintain a steady but vertical trajectory which I'm sure that it will do (imho).

Have faith in the long term ambitions of the BoD. This isn't some fly by night outfit, this is the real deal.

...Argo is dirt cheap as far as I'm concerned. QBT... a great deal more risk BUT stranger things have happened so that could also prove to be a winner.
