Mike have you seen the last update, RNS ?
Thats all we know really, but leaves you guessing...
They have ticked off 80% of the audit tasks/checks, and paused, in the meantime addressing issues such as repairs(no details).
They indicated they expected to restart mid August, so may or may not have restarted..
But have not given when they expect to finish the audit, or any details of whats left to do...
But a month from then to mobilize the rig. paper work I guess
No mention of paper work related to drilling Tai

But being as Latorre is back in 3 weeks, thats when I expect that rig will be packing its bags for fishing trip to lake Rukwa

Latorre, Now obviously I dont know your experience, but even though I have been here from the start I have little experience of reading drill results RNSs, depending on how they are worded, makes them hard to interpret as a good result or bad..
Luckily He1 used grammerly on our RNS, although they did'nt mention how that well was left, able to re-enter or permanently sealed

This one caused lots confusion, so its worth reading in that respect, if you have my level of knowledge..

Just like ours thats an open hole well, on land, has gas shows, all low percentages, and the open section washed out and was caked with drilling mud, but it was completed, and will be revisited.. Tai-3 maybe completed, after a similar result, and require further work..
So if that one is difficult to judge as a good or bad result it worth looking at for the experience, and if your clued up on this stuff I would benefit from some discussion on the subject. ;)

Thanks, new to this share so been reading through posts, so your comment caught my interest..
Only thing I could think of to give such a big difference would be for the mid price used to calculate the buy/sell ratio being lower than the actual mid, maybe lagging or deliberate. Sometimes you see the ASK tick up but trades remain within the previous spread for extending periods before dropping back.. Probably other reasons too

You can learn a lot from other shares, even if you dont hold them..
Have a read of this RNS, it reads just like Tai, but there was supposedly more drills to come to support the price..

@KeithOz, Just some info for those who were interested, its AIM so the share price will do what it will, and that will probably be influenced by the return the owners of the new shares would like, and how quick they want to off load..
65m traded since 17th. Could be some sold already, some loaned for short positions expecting sub 6p on placing, but not sure how all that works..

@Aimster, I am not sure where the 420 comes from..
But for anyone who is interested my understanding is the calculation would be something like..

"Total value of current shares in issue" plus "the total value of new shares", all divided by " their combined share count".

Current Shares 308.6m at 7.81p (closing price before announcement as price not given)
Following Admission, the Company has 353,595,477 ordinary shares of no par value in issue,
But initially only 45m shares will be added to current shares in issue, later they are going add another 15m NEW shares

((Shares in issue x SP)+( New shares x issue SP))/ (all divided by new share count)
((308.6mx7.81p)+ (60m x 5.5p)) / (353,595,477+15,000,000) = £0.074 or 7.4p
So I guess (£.Mcap + £.Placing)/ Updated Shares in Issue= Adjusted SP

When IAG raised funds through a large placing the share price adjusted to the new calculated price, then trading continued..

Still its worth looking to see if the price defies general bump generating events, if its got a cult following, pumpers and dumpers, and lots of CLN for the big boys to work the lows before converting and pump after..

There will be a twist, Europe transitions from Russia while other to, for some countries its about price not western politics..

@Troajan, have you correlated graph to news/events...?
First glance a couple of spuds and continual downtrend this year, then initially a good rise on a report using $100barrel($80 low) to value an old, and at that time uneconomical discovery, Maria. Buggers dont give break even..
