Both seem to be 100t hook, and both rated to 2000m according todays update.

The Predator is a top holing rig, and I believe it has its limits depending on casing size and depth..

But I could'nt find those specs, just a well design for a project, which used both a Predator and Tower rig.

Yep, Certainly did, Friday Noble announced they had withdrawn from their LOI with SOFORI, which obviously impacts He1 sharing agreement, also announced a new rig and stated HE1 had not yet decide to share in their new rig. :(

So He1 announced they had issued SOFORI with a rectification notice, but with no details, which did little to reassure the market. (https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/HE1/drilling-rig-update-w073l997ujp3d9i.html).

Then this morning announced they had bought a rig, the same rig they had audited last year, but dropped for another, and has been available for months..

So with a drill pad almost complete and a rig purchase in its final stages, they released an update that suggested they were still pursuing SOFORI if they satisfied the rectification notices, even stated Nobles rig was amongst options which probably would have meant drilling Q4, but more likely next year.. A real poor update, considering where they were...

Nuch such thing , its all true , I tell you..

BMV, I just read part of the RNS, could those buys be the company pickup up shares ready for the JV, is that possible?

With such low volume, where did the shares to fill those buys come from ?

They will be agencies supplying crew, but they may not be as good as a permanently employed team that comes with the rig they spend their time on..

Drilling pipes should be available, I guess they know how long they will take

The well control gear, thats the blow out preventor that sits on the well head, and mud control system, connected to hydraulic pumps and valves... not sure about how long that will take, hopefully they checked that first

Yep, some people will have needlessly sold, taking significant losses.. Not all are traders

@KevR, Our drill guys are desk jockeys, my biggest concern is the well control equipment Mike was obviously having trouble sourcing the stuff to be asking around on the likes of twitter or maybe linkedin or both, cant remember..

Well my other worry is He1 think a drill is a drill, and dont consider the benefits of guys with experience drilling for gas especially using the same or similar rigs...they will have a feel for it..recognize sounds of the drill, feel it labouring..

Confuses me.. we do mud and wire-line logs, but not mud logging ...

@Wyn, I don't know with this lot, those who sold at mid 7s probably read the RNS properly, same old tricks ..

The fall back could be partly because they dont have a crew, a very important point that did'nt get bullet pointed or get its own paragraph unlike the termination of SOFORI...

I need to sharpen up...too much bumph before the important stuff, just before Ians waffle..

In the meantime, the Company will order remaining

-well control equipment, (remember the BOP saga, MIke advertising for bits on his forums, making out it was for another project)

-await the arrival of drill pipe

-source an experienced crew.

The Company has already mobilised drill bits, wellheads and casing to site at Rukwa.

@Baramara, It was inspected by the same company the audited our rig last year

Rig is suitable for operations and was signed off independently by international rig inspection and audit company ADC Energy Ltd ("ADC") in July 2022

Completion of Audit last year

Rig audit has been completed and Rig has been signed off as "fit for purpose" by Aberdeen Drilling Consultants ("ADC"), an internationally recognised expert in rig audit and evaluation

@Wyn, I dont know why they just did'nt come out with it, and say we bought last years rig..

Perhaps the entertainment in guessing is an added value, some fun to calm our minds after Fridays update lol
