@Mischief23, What saved me from getting wiped out early was the advice to always take your investment out so your only risking your profit.. But take profit too, as eventually you could end up with eating into your hard earned money..Sometimes you get a string of bad ones, maybe just bad timing.. Its easier to sell in profit that in loss as your always hoping for the bounce..

@Mischief, just remember to take some profit when things get a little questionable.. Pay attention to the trolls, some of them have great timing, and maybe have a short position..

QED, not looking to bright with second component failure, both at 100% load, I hope its not related to attempting to achieve 100% with a lower calorific fuel, so far its sounds like its QEDs components failing..

I can see QED have their own pumping and heating unit, its the clients combustion unit..

There is a QED burner, but I am not sure if thats in the combustion unit..

I can only waffle as I dont know anything about the test setup, ..

Are they just filling up a fuel tank on the customers standard setup and running the tests or is it a QED modified setup, or maybe all but the furnace QED equipment .. ?

To what load level were they pumping previously, and for how long?

What pump were they using then compared to now ?

If they said what the old and alternative designs were we would have a clue, but then they would tells us why the pumps failed..

As a quick punt, the Trouble is unlike last time they started testing without notifying so there was no rise on that news, if they do that again, the next news could be failure if they intend to announce it..or success..

If MSAR has a lower calorific value then maybe they need to burn more for the same heat, so need to push more fuel through the system, but we can only guess without knowing the design and how each part limits the performance of another

@Toby, alternative designs will probably offer different performance levels, or even be better suited to different properties of whatever is being pumped..

Without any details we can't have a view based on fact, we can only waffle, my guess is they have ordered a higher capacity pump which can easily exceed the maximum loads experienced by the failed unit.. Then there is the brand, and quality of the original unit..
