Always thought it was just the company taking advantage of the rise in price, but would be interested in any theories around the MM(maybe house broker) working the price up wards, or simply supporting it( ending that cycle of easy drift down). Since that makes the shares to the HNW more expensive, it seems not in their interest....So was just wondering ?
