OPIC is supporting Helium One Global which aims to end global helium supply shortages.. In addition to the development and commercialization of green helium fields, the project also includes the construction and operation of a gas gathering systems and multiple helium liquefaction plant.
The Project will also employ generations of Tanzanians, contributing to the U.S. governments priority of investing in Africa and in particular the economic growth and addressing unemployment in Tanzania.

They do say fiction becomes reality :)

@SGF, yep I am expecting but it does not mean I will get anything..

US Gov provided a loan to South African Renergen, He1's resource is going to be significantly more massive

@SGF, my thinking is that one of the reasons given for drilling Tai was the range of horizons present and the data the drill would provide.
So my guess is that they maybe waiting before deciding the next site, based on the findings at Tai.
One of our most knowledgeable posters in this field suggested the next 2 wells could be Kasuku and Miombo..

@DBD, its hot here, been trimming leylandii trees, looked like I had been in a wet t-shirt competition,
The shed roof is bitumen felt, I could see bubbles underneath where the excessive heat was releasing the helium from the air trapped underneath ;)

There is thread about testing, exploration through to appraisals, gives info on how they estimated how much gas is stored in the reservoir.. I will bump the thread for you

It was a good post by cperkin as that video certainly showing they do have things in hand, and 3 days at the average drilling speed which I estimate as 27-30m/d puts them back in the show area...

Just realised I had been confusing this new found zone with one of those from Tai's seismic section, and said it was about 140m to its base(thick)..Sorry
So the depth of this new show is at the moment unknown to us, I hope its substantia, and 140m would let me off the hook :)

Was thinking now that the few degree bend is cased you will have a flat metal surface for the drill to rotate in while being lubricated by the mud. A bit like the shell bearings in a car engine that are fitted between the piston connecting rod big end and the crank shaft. The shell bearing being a softer flat metal, (much like a ribbon), not a round roller bearing. So two flat surfaces rubbing together protected by lubricant.

@SGF Take a look at Renergen their wells have been producing the same rate since 1950s(date needs checking). When I watched the video the wells looked like they were vented to atmosphere while abandoned.

The other thing is the helium seeps in Tanzania, I assume that includes Rukwa, have been producing +10% since first recorded in 1956..

concentration levels of 13 to 18 per cent".
