@liquid, Guess a typo so only mentioning just in case we get more suggestions of a lack of updates while drilling is yet to reach our primary target.

The gas shows were unexpected and in a location above the primary target,

lots of interesting posts this morning, plenty to think about especially when we have the same info and slightly different interpretations :)
Also we have estimates of 740-900m, at 30m/d thats 5 days.. could be close then..

@russhobs, thanks its good to have some feed back from experienced folk..
I realised using the simple 30m/d x 30 days no longer matched with my estimate of progress when replying to noob, so had a closer looks, then posted it for others to have a think about, I could be wrong though, so its good to see Diversified estimates 740/770m and I have 750m for end of today based on 30m/d..

I dont have much experience with exploration companies, just for ideas what price range do you see just before drilling starts, conservative values ?

@noob, I dont have clue about drilling speeds, but then again DME's experts were way out on well 4, and after drilling 3 others.
SeisPro suggested 40m/d early on, thats 30 days to drill 1200m which is a month per deepest well, as scheduled.
The estimates of 30m/d over 30 days is 900m, 1100m at the same rate is another 7 days....
So that makes you think we are almost there.....???

The 1st week(12th-19th)was slow just 55m plus cementing conductor casing...
Then, something to think about was the mud video and posters saying they could see bubbles, 6th July.
That was followed by an RNS 12th, bubbles and side track..then casing side track in video..
I don't believe that RNS 12th states a time & date for the show. But the first show was given with a time and date.
Makes me think they may have seen the show on 6th, and the side track was all good by 12th, which was cased on the 13th..
Directors Talk Interview Tues 13th July said side track was being done.
So in total maybe another 7/8 days lost, roughly 6th -13th..
Say the side track at 480m was cased to 500m, then we have maybe 600m, at most 700m to go from the 13th,...
We also know they drilled from 55m-70m in 1.5 hours, so 10m/h
Estimate 19th-30th averaged roughly 48-53m per day
Estimate 19th-6th 27-30m/d..
So I dont have a clue how fast they are going now, but it could be ....

It was misleading, I assumed it was a buy with previous holding being Zero but checked the admission doc, especially seeing the sp price had not rallied.

This Doc has lots of holdings info , shares and warrants, helps save on the guessing..

These are the main potential reservoirs for helium in the Lake Rukwa Area.

The Lake Beds are the upper megasequence The Lake Beds have been further subdivided into upper and lower units.
The lower unit is a transitional interval from the continental Red Beds deposition to the lacustrine Lake Beds deposition.
The Red Beds are the middle megasequence, which is composed of thick continental sandstones and mudstones
The lowermost megasequence is the Karoo Supergroup (White Sands)

Helium One finds helium-enriched gas at Rukwa
Helium shows were identified in shallow strata from 70.5 metres.
Micro-gas chromatograph showed helium concentrations of up to 2.2%, helium in gas recovered from drilling mud.
The gas show is situated at the base of a 20 metres thick shale unit and persisted at >10,000ppm (>1%) He for 4-6 meters.
Drilling operations would continue to the base of the lake bed formation, expected to be at 400 metres, before wireline logging could provide additional information.
Over 1000 metres still to drill at Tai-1

Dm previously pointed out and highlighted two areas of interest at the base of the lake beds and in the karoo.
Karoo is the location of the primary target which is at least 1000m further down than the 70m show

I am not sure how/when he will updates us, we had a quick show(2.2%) announcement before calibration, so keen to announce. Then the next show update had no value. At 30m/d we should have passed the area of the mud show which was around 561m, restarting drilling from the side kick at about 481m. So I am expecting the show value any time unless we have to wait. May be its a significant zone and they are testing, ;)

DM said they had very variable stratigraphy
They drilled to a depth of 561m keeping drilling rates moderated to ensure consistency of mud quality while drilling through a very variable stratigraphy.
They had a very exciting gas show at 551m underneath a marginal mudstone sealing unit which suggests a very productive helium system,

I worked out progress to be about 27m/d up to the point they were casing the side kick, but hopefully drilling will become easier from now on allowing faster progress, if not faster then slow and smooth..
But I will be up in the morning to check on the 7am RNS I was hoping for on monday :)
