My bank will rally now,,, thinking back Trump actually posted it was a good time to buy before he broke the news.. It did'nt cross my mind he would pause the big tariffs.. It is still 10% across the board, so problems still exits but oil futures recovered to Brent $65 WTI $62.. So the tariffs did affect oil prices... but they have been those price since yesterday recovery..

Is Matd, Mongolia classed as inner China, and thats where the oil will be processed, but probably not destined for US..Could do 2p again.. that 30%

Lol, thats typical I sold my bank today, missing the Ex dividend date tomorrow, £340, and now its going to rebound, and fees/taxes to buy back will be about £90..... oh well, maybe there is a good AIM stock offering a quick 10%..

Dumping of Treasuries, usually considered a "safe" investment during market blues, this causes the bond price to fall which in turn increase the yield from the interest paid.. So forces new bond interest rates up increasing the cost of gov borrowing

OPEC really upping oil production that will also sting the Saudi budget.. If the oil stays low US shale will be uneconomical, ending Trumps energy dreams of being No1 export, and all the knock on effects of a failed industry....

We can see oil is down,,

But Chevron , BP, Shell, and DEC are down 20% or more, way out pacing the main markets which are yet to see economic figures impacted by tariffs. Time to be vigilant ...

Have you looked into OPEC increasing daily production almost x3, imo seems it could be a tactical move to show who is boss, , create some hurt, reign in the US and take back the lions share of the market..

Looks like Trump might be getting a fight...

The Treasuries market has liquidity problems, hedge funds are being forced to close their positions, and it looks like foreign banks are not buying, while others maybe dumping.. This pushes up the yield(interest) on theses bonds which will makes Trumps plan to borrow even more expensive, if he can get buyers. If is foreign banks dumping then he has lost buyers
