Hi guys, ive been invested in HUM longer than i ever expected but have No intentions of selling any time soon as i truely believe were heading into a significant bull run. Bought more on the last dip to 26p region and seriously considering more.
Does anyone have a good grasp on silver explorers or early junior miners/explorers on AIM, wanting to take a couple of positions in silver. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
Here here Beechcomber. Not posted for a good while now, but still reading every day. It's been a torrid time for investors as a whole, we as BMN holders seem to have taken a battering. It's very uncomfortable watching this play out, as all investors have said this week, bloody awful in fact. BUT a drop from 24p to 10p in a couple of weeks..think about that, way beyond oversold. BMN haven't put a foot wrong this past year, the business is moving forward as it's stated. Incredible turnover and good profits with fantastic growth potential with relatively low capex investment to do so. BE doesn't need huge sums of money to grow exponentially. The share price was extremely well supported at 20p range with v prices at mid 20's. Stocks are going to bounce big time at some point, tomorrow, next week or next month...who knows. But the fact is they will and so will BMN. As difficult as it is, try and put timescales into perspective, this period will be short in relative terms. Absolutely believe BMN will rise very strongly from this. Focus on the end game which the company certainly is doing.
Regarding the comment on 'hundreds of enquiries but no contracts for BE'
We could and I'm sure an aspect of the market may assume the same and make that conclusion.
BUT
Its surely all about the pre-positioning of BMN/BE ahead of the market. Take a stake in Avalon-Redt, and buy Enerox outright through a consortium. First refusal Supply agreements of Electrolyte in place. Some very big ticks!
Then FINALISE contracts and start to release the news flow!
Much much more profitable this way rather than being under the thumb of VRFB suppliers with no foothold in OEM and total vertical integration.
I'm more than happy to wait a couple months in this respect as it creates so much more revenue opportunity. Masterclass in the business strategy that was laid out for all those that have been willing to understand and appreciate.
Once these deals are cemented then BE will be in full swing, I have no doubt about it...4 years in the making with an extremely talented BOD positioning the company at the forefront of the next phase of the energy storage market.
That's an interesting development. Will be even more interesting if 2000-3000MW lands before the proposed 1440MW BESS project. This adds a significant opportunity for BMN/BE and it's old and newly acquired partners. Looking good
And LEMUR itself iwill be a substantial coal mine and Power plant project. Yes there is a step change to renewables but this project is required to bring electricity to the people of Madagascar. It will be a modern clean process and expect Solar and VRFB' s to be part of the mine and power plant.
If China wants ore from Mokopane which I'm convinced they do by the way! I would if I was CEO of Bushveld, ensure that any off take agreement is contractually agreed that ore is for the specific use for electrolyte manufacture for the VRFB industry ONLY. No ore into the current steel market. BMN can do that themselves from Vametco or Vanchem.
How will the WBG invest in battery development. Is it feasible that the VIP has been set up so its practical for them to invest in a range of companies to drive battery deployment?
Their key statement is to 'particularly' drive this across sub saharan Africa.
'Third, battery storage can be transformational for the clean energy landscape in developing countries
Today, battery technology is not widely deployed in large-scale energy projects in developing countries. The gap is particularly acute in Sub-Saharan Africa, where nearly 600 million people still live without access to reliable and affordable electricity, despite the region’s significant wind and solar power potential and burgeoning energy demand. Catalyzing new markets will be key to drive down costs for batteries and make it a viable energy storage solution in Africa. '

Well well, posted a couple weeks ago about Enerox subsidiary for sale and would BMN be interested in buying. They certainly are!!
I think it's almost a given (assuming deal all goes through) that a facility for Enerox will be established in SA, ultimately assembly and manufacturing. I had this in mind, but now knowing that Bushveld consortium will own it...its a no brainer. This will become BE flagship VRFB in SA imo. The cost savings benefits to BMN/BE and subsequent drivers for Sales across the free trading countries of Africa will be incredibly compelling. There will be no cost competion for VRFB there for them. Simply brilliant strategy yet again. Cornering a significant chunk of the market. The BE juggernaut is rolling now and it wont be long before its unstoppable.
My take fro the interview is that there is a whole load more development going on with BE that we arent aware of yet. Fortune states something along the lines of 'you've got to realise we've been working on BE for over 4 years now. We keep running the sanity checks and our conviction knowing the market just keeps getting stronger. We absolute believe this is the right strategy'
Not word for word but it sounded like theres a lot going on that will be released very soon on the BE side.
Considering what the World bank is looking to invest huge sums of money into the battery sector, particularly developing countries like South Africa.
Is it feasible that they needed this type of platform to be set up to invest in the VRFB industry?
Establishment of a new VRFB Investment Platform ("VIP") to make strategic investments directly into VRFB OEMs that offer strong growth upside and provide potential off take for Bushveld's vanadium products. The VIP will leverage Bushveld Energy's expertise in the energy storage market, its capacity to ramp up vanadium supply and its capital investment to attract additional external funding into the VRFB OEMs and the industry. Bushveld's role would be that of a significant minority investor, with strategic involvement such as vanadium sourcing, while keeping the day-to-day operations in the hands the management team. The Company intends to leverage its initial capital commitments by mobilising additional third party capital to create sufficient capacity to play a meaningful role in scaling up VRFBs manufacturing capacity.
@Brad the cost to upgrade each aspect of Vanchem including the kilns will be well documented before the purchase, hence why they've put a total figure of US45 million on it to completely overhaul over 5 years. Bushveld I'm sure are being super conservative on both price and timescale. Increased revenues over the next couple years will bring forward the upgrades. In the last RNS bushveld say that the full upgrade plan will be provided in due course.
Many months ago I asked on the board what value LEMUR holds in an outright sale, considering Coal & Power plant at DFS stage with Sinohydro China heavily involved. No one could seem to value it as a sale entity, Sinohydro are the obvious taker. It's going to be many millions but how many?
The Eskom tender could land very very soon now. I believe with the shoulders that Fortune is rubbing against now in government that Bushveld are seen as the go to company for the BESS project. It's just a matter of what we can supply in the first stage. The second phase shouldn't be a problem. Refer back to those building blocks. It all doesn't have to come from UET, maybe Avalon will.play a part. Stockpiling V at Vametco ongoing.
Looking hugely positive and this news is very very close now. Its what we've talked about for long enough, but it's very much at BMN's door right now. Listen for that knock...and let's see how many rush to that door!
We know and Fortune knows how the markets work (or dont). I certainly wouldn't rule out another beauty. Bushveld haven't put a foot wrong this past year. A serious business is very strategically and progressively being built here. We have had several building blocks put in place very recently but there will be more coming, you just know it!
