Mrremmy post sums it up!
Enormous potential
Hi all
I’ve been invested in Bushveld Minerals for while , my average is around 23p mark of memory give or take a few points , I first noticed bushy when I searched for vanadium producers back in Feb -March 2018 the time when the sp was around 8-9 mark , I kick myself now but I’m happy that I did invest eventually , I’ve invested from 19 p to 45 p over the months ,
This invest as all boxes ticked ,
Vanadium is in deficit, with no short term to mid term production coming online to meet the increasing demand for vanadium in many forms
1 , new rebar standards china
2, Environmental issues in China leading to vanadium mines production decreasing and shutdowns of mines
3. The steel industry is the base to build from in the vanadium market , new rebar standards in the future from global countries will increase future demand
4. VRFBs uptake in China , China becoming a importer of vanadium as their need for vanadium is for environmental issues as well as investing in their infrastructure.
5. The green attitude for governments and institutional investors as grown enormously over the last year and vanadium plays a big part in that strategy .
6. Driven by green strategy it becomes even more economic to do so , VRFBs being a major part
7. Any uptake of VRFBs takes vanadium from the steel industry,
8. Demand for vanadium increasing in the new electric vehicles market , not just cars , think anything that moves on wheels . Vanadium used strengthening steel also means less steel needed , bringing weight down improves efficiency ,
9. Smart cities in future, driven by green issues, vanadium playing a part in the building and energy supply
10, all the above is enough.but the demand for vanadium is increasing with encouraging recent announcements .
a. The swatch, Belenos Clean Power Holding AG battery , which as connections to Geely in China , Volvo , and black cabs London (Chinese firm has taken over London’s black cabs) the job recently advised from belenos gives positive intentions for the battery going into production

b,Smart windows, recently been in the news , I don’t know how much vanadium this will consume in future. But this headline goes on smart windows alone . Read the article further and the use can be implemented to other appropriate applications ,my view would direct this tech to solar panels, as solar panels are more efficient when cooler than 25 degrees centigrade
c. Vanadium use in 3D printing ,
d. Vanadium dioxide: A revolutionary material for tomorrow's electronics, https://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2018-02/epfd-vda020518.php
Vanadium is a amazing commodity which is at the moment produced by mainly byproduct production,
To meet demand byproduct production is not going meet future demand ,
Primary vanadium producers are in the position to do so,
Bushveld Minerals potential is enor
The rise from 8p to where we are is based on extremely solid fundamentals and extremely strong cash generation. Your comment Jonny is quite irrelevant. What is relevant is the the price currently is very much undervalued based on the extremely solid fundamentals and extremely strong cash generation. That is the current situation, then we can start to talk about the business that is Bushveld Energy which has zero value attributed to the share price...currently! But that is about to change as BE have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to role back the curtains very soon and unveil what they have long been talking about. It's about to get very exciting in BMN again. That's why millions of shares are been bought in the 40's.
Alfa & Pdub Exactly...great posts which reflect all true investors strategy, research and belief in the company here. Lots of subtle 'warnings' by IH in all his posts. So obvious to LTH,s. What these types fail to recognise is that LTH's CONTINUE to assess their investment here, and the conclusion after all the reach is to either HOLD or CONTINUE BUYING. We haven't always been in profit here, most of us were significantly down in the earlier years. Some company's you would simply cash in once back in the black, not BMN, I've bought all the way up...after assessment and balanced reasoning on ALL the positives and negatives surrounding this investment. Long way to go yet imo! But as we all say DYOR
Some interesting quotes in there. The third one from The World Bank group which has stated their intention of huge investment in energy storage.
"The market for energy storage in the United States could reach $2.5 billion by 2020—six times as much as in 2015."
"In less than 10 years, to 2026, distributed solar-plus-storage systems worldwide will be worth more than US$49.1 billion."
“Energy storage capacity will increase 40-fold in developing countries over the next 8-9 years; growing to 80GW from 2016’s 2GW capacity.”
An idea regarding the chat thread that many are concerned about having useful debates/info/links deleted when the BB becomes infested by having a certain post reported, by which ends up deleting the whole thread!
Example.
RE: Lse please read (this is a thread in play now on the BB)
Copy the title and create a New Post and simply add the number 1 or the letter A at the end.
So RE: Lse please read
Becomes RE: Lse please read 1
Subsequent posts RE: Lse please read 2 etc etc.
By doing this (only when it's absolutely necessary) the Troll posts can be reported (as necessary), allowing ADMIN to delete the single post(s), leaving the legitimate thread in tact.
I'm sure people could still follow the thread ok.
It obviously takes a few seconds longer to post, but may or may not be of use at appropriate times!?
Just a thought.
Hope the treatment is very positive reteps. It's scary how many people are now diagnosed, but the important aspect is that many do very well with treatment now. Best wishes to all those on this BB who are going through or have gone through the same. Hope 2019 proves to be a prosperous year for health and then wealth for all investors in this fabulous company!
Happy New Year to all.
The fundamentals of BMN and Vanadium price...even after the recent pull back with BE, IDC, UET, the world bank etc etc will drive the BMN share price significantly higher. Anyone that does the necessary research on Vanadium and VRFB will see this. The next leg up is upon us and those looking in will be chasing prices higher throughout 2019. This is no bubble, it's the start of a new industry that will make some of these comments this evening look very silly indeed!
An extract from SloppyG link. Everywhere we turn Battery storage is gaining momentum.
COMPELLING TECHNOLOGY
One of the problems with energy resilience from renewable-power sources, such as solar or wind power, has been the lack of ability to store the power for use when the wind stops or the sun goes down.
Until recently, storage options have not been affordable.
"It's not so much the technology has gotten cheaper as it is that the manufacturing has gotten to be more extensive, lowering the unit cost," McGhee said of large-scale battery storage units.
"It's very exciting for us, because we've been looking forward to this moment to couple large-scale, utility-size batteries with our existing large-scale, energy-generation projects that we helped develop," he said.
The Redstone Arsenal project was OEI's first foray into large-scale utility batteries, McGhee said, but added several more "are in the works" and could be part of projects in the coming year.
"It's happening very quickly," he said, "Companies are better understanding the technology, but they're also better understanding the value proposition." More developers are now actively seeking partners for battery-storage projects, he said.
"That technology at an affordable price enables so many other technologies and so many design options that weren't available before.
"Large-scale affordable battery storage … provides the most compelling new option paths available that are intriguing to improving resilience on Army installations," he added.
The 1-megawatt battery that became operational on Redstone in February can provide power for 2 megawatt hours, McGhee said, and added that future battery projects are likely to be much larger
Additional components must be added to the Redstone project to enable long-term backup power, he said. But planning is underway for a potential microgrid that could provide sustainable power at the arsenal for a long-term emergency.

SloppyGuiseppe posted on here about this project on Saturday at 08:17
There was some discussion about it.
I wonder if Mikhail was aware of this project or if he picks up snippets of info off this BB to?
Taken from that article BBN. Absolutely agree, it's game on!
Dyson says it’s just a matter of time before more utilities across the US reach the same decision to replace old coal with “crazy cheap” new renewables. In Colorado, bidders are selling wind for as little as $12 per megawatt hour (MWh) and solar for $23 per MWh. Even after adding batteries to solar farms to keep supplying power into the evening, the cost rises to just $30 per MWh. That’s before income tax credits of 30% for new renewables built by 2023. Those prices are well below the average US price of nuclear ($105/MWh), coal ($67/MWh), and even low-cost natural gas ($39/MWh), according to Ravi Manghani of energy research firm Wood Mackenzie.
For now, the grid is not quite ready for 100% renewables. Far more storage will need to come online. High-voltage transmission lines must ferry energy from (often remote) wind and solar arrays to their final, urban destinations. With utilities set to approach 80% renewables in the next decade, the last 20% of carbon-free electricity will be the hardest to achieve.
If investors have the conviction to hold over the coming years, BMN is looking like it is going to be in a prime position to help renewables fill these gaps with its 'deeply integrated vanadium business model'

Alfa, I know BE are taking about a solar partner already, my point was that they don't have to settle at one or two solar partners or customers. The solar partner BE are working with probably don't have or maybe not even aware of this new technology in solar array. That new technology can help drive down costs of solar further by absolutely maximising energy stored. So in turn can help drive costs down of overall projects of solar plus VRFB by improving long term efficiencies.
That's a very interesting piece SloppyG... do you have the link? Might be something BE would be interested in with potential solar partners down the line. Driving efficiencies on all fronts will be key for Bushveld and it's partners or customers to take a dominant market position.
