Yep. strategy a all the way. it saves people losing the dividend on any stock buying at the wrong price. safe money. and you still have your shares for a climb up no matter how long it takes and potential another dividend but next time will probalby be only for long term holders. strategy b is a time thing. you get the money on the 13th may. by the time you re invest shares might have gone up. so a if your sensible.

There is no chance of it dropping to 1.5. it has never been that low and as said with buybacks, special dividends, better sentiment, cheap anyway on fundamentals. so the drop will probalby be the normal drop on special dividend ex dividend or less and from the highest price on the 24th which is the ask price.

Daprohet too right. people are going to buy this for more dividends in the future but already on board. and a rising share price after the drop in the coming weeks/months. as long as you are already in and holding you win. on the other hand people buying in now ready to sell quickly after ex dividend because they need the money are not going to make the money they think they will. and buyers buying after ex dividend will get cheap stock along with future dividends if they hold. it is simple. get in and hold. of if already in just hold after ex dividend in my opinion.

But the ask is at 3p now to buy. the best buying price between 2.2 to 2.7 has gone. so the drop on ex dividend is going to hurt buyers now compared to those already in and holding.

Deltalo. yep. it is just stupid piling in and then selling on ex dividend date. only game in town is hold, hold, hold where you benefit from share price recovery after ex dividend and the dividend itself. infact by the 13 may get the dividend and shares may be back up.

Defo you can not have your cake and eat it short term. and buying at the highest price before ex dividend and then selling is madness. your divi benefit will be small and you may even be on a small loss with costs also depending on what money you put in.

The stock price usually drops by the amount on ex dividend day. i am just sticking with what i have, pick up the divi on the 13th, hold and i may buy more on the drop if ed comes out with a forward looking statement. it is nuts to buy on the 24th if you are just going to sell straight after ex dividend in my opinion. you get the divi but will lose on your shares. it has to be a hold in my opinion and then you get both in time. share price increase and dividends in low risk aim stock that is cheap.

Tak. i was more on about the 5 minute crew who may buy at close on wednesday and then sell on thursday.

Buying on wednesday is probalby not sensible into a rise unless the people buying are going to hold. you get the dividend but your buying at the short term high and next day is ex dividend day with a drop.

Yep. there will be no placement, no dilution. ed just needs to come out with more good news in the coming weeks/ months . a rare situation of an aim stock with a bit of a safety net coming out with big special dividends.

There is a fair chance ed will turn this around now and he has reasons to do it. and the shares are cheap and very low market cap. right when you sell it could all turn around. that is how this market works. if the share price triple in the next 12 months or so and as matt says more special dividends dished out but only for shareholders that hold from here how would you feel. of course if you need the money fair enough. but my opinion i would think about it. nothing worse being an ex shareholder and watching your stock go up paying out dividends along the way. but each to there own and everyone is different. good luck whatever you choose.

Mat. if another special dividend the next one will be likely shareholders on the register on that day the news come out. so only holders will benefit. this is just given a chance for the old crew that sold to get back in and some new lads who are lucky to find out about it and get some money in before cut off date. but it is a buy and hold now all the way and pick up that cash on the 13th may in my opinion.

Wimie. your post is what will wind up long term holders on here. so no one will give you advice as your probalby not going to hold more than 5 minutes after ex dividend. infact the dates may be there to catch people out. sell at the wrong time and it will be no dividend for you.

Very nice indeed. a grand invested and you get 350 quid back and in just a few weeks as cash. with special dividend, buyback, good cash flow and a good chance given some time a good rise in share price from 2p all looks really good. and you never know. maybe another special dividend at some point. it will be interesting what ed has got to say about the future of the company. but. hey . get some cash on the 13th may folks.

Really chaebol. your wrong again. the bet i put on with money never sleeps was shaere price on the 18th april clean spark. that was it. if the shares were 15 dollars or below he wins. if the shares were 17 dollars or above i win. it ended 16 dollars on the 18th but was briefly 17 dollars. so technically no one won. but do not let your lies and grudges get in the way in having a go at me. get your facts right. lol.
