longlad. good points. my point with arb a share price going from 5p to 3 quid in a couple of months is brilliant but investers were still dumb enough to make losses over the next year by catching a falling knife and buying at the top. it is like in the very unlikely event that seed went from 2p to 2 quid a share [lol] and us on here were still dumb enough to lose money because of failing to take big profits, buying at the top, catching a falling knife all the way back down again etc. this is the problem. greed and not thinking straight.

matador. that is true. it depends on the money you have. so a thousand pound in it is critical that the invester finds the bottom as they have no back up. as you say 20 percent of that put in is only 200 pounds so harder to make a decent profit unless it really soars but at least 800 quid back up money if it goes wrong. if someone has 7 grand of liquid money then it is easier to put money money in, keep extra back ready to go in but keep enough safe so you can sleep at night and spend or save as you wish. i now totally agree that anyone on here needs to look at what they can lose. if it is impossible to handle then stay away from aim altogether. the game is only for people that know what they are doing and have enough money to split.

longlad. i agree investers are not on aim to make mediocre returns as you say. but there lies the problem. none of them can handle the losses. so the only way is have more money in on the turn in strong market conditions on aim, have less money and take profits at times and sometimes you should not have any money or little money in aim. then wait and if need to be keep waiting to get in very cheap. if your chasing to get rich all the time you must be able to handle the losses. what has been proven no one can. you need to be happy with smaller profits on trading but if bigger profits come in a bull market / money making money and an insane high then great at some point in the future.

longlad. i agree. i will never fall in love with any company or believe everything the boss says. i tend to look at other things. i am also a different invester than what i was 10 years ago. an example now i will use 20 percent of my liquid money. so i am covered. enough money in the market and extra money to put in on any clear short trade with positive strength but also money that is safe. basically i sleep well covering all angles plus i can wait for however long it takes to make a profit. greed is also not a problem for me anymore. a big profit great but a small profit i would be really happy with. along with all that i no longer will get in to spats on the chat boards. total different mind set compared to the younger me going all in and making a 50 posts a day. lol. however i do hope we all do ok on here. if i can get some trades right over the next 3 years then maybe others can also. it makes a happier chat board. my mind is clear. be patient to buy in. no rush but be ready. be happy with smaller profit and keep money safe and extra money to use to buy at the bottom.

also looking at arb. investers are losing money hand over foot. investers should of made a fortune in that company. the share price rose from 5p to 3 quid in a couple. so why are most losing and getting mad? greed and buying in at really high prices and failing to trade. they should have millions but instead are on losses most of them. the lesson is simple. do not get so greedy that you lose the plot.

so in the coming months they need to prove that they are worth what they are getting paid. otherwise what is the point of them being in charge. it is clear to everybody that the price drop from 3.9 to 2.5 was caused by that rns. you would think enough is enough and they do not want there reputations to be so bad. anyway it is worth a trade from here in the coming months and then see if enough is enough even for them. time for a coffee.

before i go out i recently looked at arb. typical of aim. 30p to 50 p and now 18p. so again a good trader would of got in at around 30 p and sold on a profit of say 70 percent without getting greedy. he gets out with a profit . others lose. not an exact science but it can work. another thing people need to do is to try to be happy with a less loss by cutting a loss. anyway see what happens in a few months with seed. i think profits will be made from here but only if you can buy at these prices.

longlad. early morning posts. going for a coffee myself to wake me up. yes. ed did cause the share price to drop from 4p to 2p with the rns about leap valuation and also market conditions. however this means that it is now very cheap for a trade. his untruths become important right now but not when people see a doubler of your money regardless of company. totally understand ed getting the blame. that is why we have to trade. if the share price was 12p now and ed was telling the truth the shares could still drop due to over valuation, profit taking and poor market conditions. but then people would still be losing money in a company doing the right thing. they are losing because they bought in at 12p and not 2p for example. it all points to trading and getting good at it to make some profits over time.

i do see 2.5 to 3.7 and then 4.6 within a few months but it could all happen quickly when it starts. so as you say a potential of around doubling your money from here. i suppose buy and then just wait for it.

investers confidence is a difficult one. it can change all of a sudden from being very bearish to very bullish and vice versa. your basically caught on the hop. this is why when it starts you can double your money quickly but only on aim market. and you can lose quickly. my opinion more likely than not that in a few months people will be saying why did i not buy in at 2p. instead they will be moaning impaled on the spike. and you know what happens next. the only winners are the people playing the game over the next few years. most of the regular posters on here will likely be doing that.

a true value will never happen. for example the lows in the next 3 years could be 2p which is where we are at and the highs could be 12p just as an example. so there will be people buying at 12p and if they are the highs they will lose money and so on and on it goes. this of course is just an example. so time and buying in at the lows and trading is critical. basically you have to play the game. you have to look and think can i start over again, fresh, clear mind with the expereince behind you. if you can game on.

longlad. as difficult as it is you have to try to start again. if people have an average of say 12 p then it is a long wait if it gets back to that price. so now it is making money from 2p. as hard as it is that is what counts now. hopefully people will get there money back at higher average but there is alot that will have to come together at the same time including positive strengh, good news, better market conditions etc. in the meantime the game is making money from 2p in the next 3 to 6 months. and then time for closing in on some of them averages.

seems to be 2.5 to 2.7 with bottom being around 2.5. if you take the spread into account/ buying and selling charges at best you get a beer out of it but more likely a small loss. people are mad. they have 5 minute timespan. we can wait to make a worthwhile gain.

positive strength is slowly starting in share price. it is iching to move up. will be 3 p to buy fairly soon.

longlad. it was cbronson with his 1.88 figure plucked from using the charts which he claimed that could be the bottom on the basis it had been there before. it has never been 1.88 so it was a load of crap. no problems people giving it a go where a share price could go but his share price was flawed. easily caught out and he was wrong anyway on a recent timeframe. i think bottom has been reached for the coming months. so hold for profit in my opinion.

where are the 1.88 crew. cbronson etc. you know. the type that look at the charts and get it wrong. lol. anyway good stuff people getting in around 2,5/ 2.6. give it a bit of time to make a decent profit from here. cheap, bottom hit and good news in last couple of days. what is not too like.

recovering during the day again. one day it will not just recover during the day. it will move to 3p in a flash.

it is best taking it one step at a time. there is no correct price that it will stay at before moving up or down. so first step would be around the 4.5/4.6 mark.

the drop from 7.8 to 4.7 was profit taking, etc. then the news about leap led to a panic. then it become oversold with the lower lows and ended up 2.5. so next comes fresh traders seeing an opportunity in an oversold stock. the result. the shares go back to 4p which is where the share price should be anyway.
