I certainly hope that is the case. Hopefully the financing will allow the company to get the existing fields up to speed and their knowledge of the area allow for some really productive new wells.
Not really got words.
I get the impression that we are right to the wire here. The interview seemed to mostly consist of here is why this is such a good deal (not convinced) and by the way everything we have said we are going to do regarding production has serious issues.
Where would we be without this massive find?
Of course I could just be plain wrong. It's up to Art to show us some value.
Two blue days now with news anticipated. CUDA confirmation is an immediate 50% to the value of the company and this was 40p in January just based on Art's comments regarding the discovery.
CUDA + Discovery Details + Finance sorted (in that order) we could see £1+
Lots of interesting companies with good outlooks sinking to 24month lows.
The outlook for the near future is about as bleak as it can get with war in Europe, inflation and the after effects of COVID.
Eventually things will start to look better and the market will recover.
By that stage we should have our infrastructure sorted out and new reserves booked.
Depressing but maybe best to just switch off a bit unless you are trading. Good market for that!
When the price shot up from 17p to 40 ish in January no-one had any idea about the news that was coming. It just landed and a week later we had doubled. I doubt if anyone has wind of bad news.
LTH will hate me for saying it but over the last two years this sort of concerted selling has always been followed by a placement. Having said that the recent placements have all been worthwhile - we are invested in a company that is pulling various threads together to prepare to go mid-cap. If it is a placement I wouldn't be surprised if it's a bid for CNOOC's interest prior to RBL being sorted out.
Of course could be completely wrong and anyway short term factors like these don't in any affect the long term view.
Art is no fool I still expect that our production should see a healthy improvement once the not insignificant consolidation of CUDA is finalised.
I think inexperienced investors like myself were just too hopeful of making a quick fortune and if it was that easy everyone would do it.
The key issues here for a good investment:
1) producing + profitable. This is no hype pump and dump stock.
2) consolidating an extra 50% of the production from the assets into our coffers at the right price through the courts and finalised in the next few weeks.
3) details of a RNSd oil discovery that will be utterly transformational for the company at it is developed.
The share price is disconnected from the potential at the moment. That's not going to be the case forever.
It's ok Bolton I know exactly where you are coming from.
The only thing is a lot of micro caps have dropped by 50-75%+++. It's a tough market. When things pick up a bit we should rise and hopefully we will see a good increase in profitability over the next 3 months to get set for a recovery in the market.
It's all coming.
CUDA confirmed. RS report. Proper profitability with that much vaunted upward incline. Possible huge growth and buy out.
Don't care about 2% or 5 or 10.
Need a 200% rise just to get to relist value.
Confident we will get it but not tomorrow or the day after.
Holding long. Frustrated by trading but my patience has become my strongest (mental) muscle after this ordeal.
Eventually this will just rerate due to optimism, dividends or buyout.
It's now about timescale and no more placements.
80p by Christmas and I'm selling out most of my holding.
GL to all LTH
IMHO two things are required here.
Patience as the company negotiates and resolves the different issues that stopped Atomic and CUDA making a success of this first time around.
Confidence that Arthur will take this opportunity to build a company that he can be proud of and have a his legacy. Not that he is nearing retirement yet but I get the impression that he has more that he wants to achieve.
I have that confidence and patience. There are quite a few players on here manipulating sentiment. I have fallen for it myself. But I do believe that I'd one can take a view that reaches into years rather than days we can very reasonable expect this company to be 500m-$1bn.
Once the resource report is out we will better know where we stand. The macro climate is very uncertain at the minute so if we get to 40-50p in this situation once the market as a whole becomes more optimistic we could really see some rapid growth.
Just had the chance to watch the presentation properly.
This company is going to go absolutely nuts in value. This resource is off the charts.
Traders gonna trade and good luck to them. One day this is going to go ballistic.
Unicorn incoming. Honestly - so much good coming here. CUDA confirmation. Drills.
Great presentation Arthur.
Good to read all of the comments. It will be great if the report does make a big difference.
I agree that the find will make this an even better possible investment.
I just think that it will take the company to start producing around the 5k mark for it to be taken seriously.
There really are only so many times you can say beyond expectations without being expected to exceed expectations - which to me has been the 5k figure for the last 12 months or so.
