Was very hard to get final 1k of shares - had to take 500 + 500 at 19.5p looks strong and the RNS does seem to insinuate that final settlement is "imminent" :-)

I had sold out thinking that this was going to drag on and on with no resolution. Great RNS and very pleased to have got back in sub 19p.

I don't mind too much if the world does get too excited about the Atomic deal being completed. After the first month of production figures flip our company profile on stockopedia from sucker stock to high flyer then every isa in the land will be banging money in come end of march. A very short summary of where we are Matthew.

Pre December we had a team of people who were constantly frustrated trying to make a start to a prime oil resource in Nigeria.

In December, out of nowhere, this deal came to the fore. The deal is a to buy a prime piece of actual oil producing company in the USA (go research if you want to know how good.)

To complete this deal they doubled the share holding in the company through placings (painful but important as buying a bigger company costs money)

They managed to get term sheets from a company serious about lending them up to $65m (again important because we have no money and surprise good companies cost lots of money)

The previous owner has been promised 4m dollars of shares. (guess why?)

For that we get a company that is currently worth 10x + our mcap and a really positive looking proven resource.

So unlike the tiny broke resource companies you are interested in (like RR, TUI and AML in your post history???) this is a tiny company growing not a big struggling firm to trade.

Best to ignore him CawCaw. A quick look at the posting history shows nothing but trolling. I appreciate your commentary and I know I'm not alone. It's going tog et a bit meaner around here as we get closer to making serious dough.

This is a small company in an unfashionable sector. Who really cares about us signing Atomic except Art and all who are invested and expect to make big returns in the next few months.

Then others will notice.

Yes CawCaw you a re right here to remind us all not to be taking out 2nd mortgages to buy another 100m shares.

As you say though, it's a very good opportunity for any value investors and the risk looks minimal. What an earner this could be by the end of the year!

Thanks for sharing this. He makes a very good point about price being pretty steady. I wonder if after today will any further rise see strong buying as investors take positions? The time frame to try to buy further dips is getting very short.

Watching the share behaviour here is a real education :-) I can see why people hate large placings so much. Would anyone mind commenting on these observations regarding the effect of the placing? I'm keen to learn and only started investing last year.

Regarding a large placing. Its not just the mcap effect its the fact that II will keep flipping shares, selling into any positive interest.

Then once that drys up (or flips) the guys waiting for the low will pile in as the shares become less likely to be sold before the big day and price momentum moves up.

Is that about right?

Yes that is disappointing that after this long period of suspension nothing is resolved. Also going from a takeover by a huge interbank company to a scap start-up. At least its in an interesting sector. Who knows it could do well, if the RTO ever happens.

That was quite a pithy post by me after a testing day. On re-reading it just now I realised that it could have been taken to include people who I actually enjoy reading and hearing from.

I intend to be reasonably LTH as I have a fairly substantial target based on what I believe will be steady growth here.

I've greatly enjoyed "getting to know" the regular posters here - including everyone who brings some helpful objectivity to the conversation. I just didn't appreciate the volume of people actively talking down the share and cluttering the board with unsubstantiated fear mongering.

As you say it's probably best to just ignore it.

Look every single person has an agenda here. Knock the price down. Build it up whatever. Some just like a rant.

It was always going to be volatile.

My hope is that AM is seizing a good opportunity. On paper it looks that way. Money has changed hands.

These drops are a kick in the proverbials. Big risk for big gains. You all know that. Go stick your money in an EV Fund and be content if you despise this company so much. But I suspect you don't.

Actually I think that at the moment we are in a sell on news environment, once you get the morning spike.

It's very volatile out there. Not a day to expect normal behaviour.

I don't think anyone expected Nigeria to be sorted today. Even so it looks like they are making positive progress and Essar are waiting to get sorted. Our forward looking market will expect, as we all do, that this will be sorted first half 2021.

For thise of us not trying to make 20% this simply gives us more confidence for the price in 12 months.

Traders working to make 20% and Nigeria still ongoing. Its been like this for months.

But in two weeks we have every reasonable expectation of going from 25m to 150m overnight. That's worth mentioning too.

Exactly Shaa. There are only a couple of reasons why we are here.

1) We are invested and are keeping a very close eye on matters as we progress towards a tranformational move into being a profitable company.
2) We have a vested interest in trying to influence the opinions of others - whether that be a financial or moral or a humanitarian (being generous here!) motive.

It's pretty easy to see who is who.
