Someone said they aren’t sure how this helps because they will lose money...
My understanding of the maths is something along these lines:
They are doing it with 100,000 shares at a time but buying up EVERYTHING that gets triggered by automatic trades and everything from people who get nervous and sell..
Like the other day when at the end of day there was a variance of 15 million more shares bought than sold..
We’ll get an RNS for around 30,000,000 shares soon
So they are playing around selling 100,000 shares a few times a day costing them about 10% of their £60k trade each time but at the same time buying up £15,000,000 worth of shares over the course of a few days ..
