RE: IAG results18 Oct 2024 12:04
In terms of results, I was looking at the old historic charts price in Jan 2020 allowing for consolidation was 440. There is a shortage of planes, going to be years to satisfy all the orders, hopefully fuel continues to come down. Hopefully no further massive escalations on Middle East front, lots of people have been travelling over the summer months. Yes we have issues with the 787 engine issues, but other airlines will as well. I feel we will be nailed on towards the £2.50 mark by end of this year with stellar results, further debt paid down and more dividend announced. IAG took opportunity to fire and re-hire during covid and really trim BA and their operations. I'm confident next year, with a good head wind we will be in the £3s, but certainly stellar results next month in my view! GLA.!!
