Hold and be patient as they say, with recent rerates, once the wars in Ukraine and Israel gets resolved and things settle down across the pond (hopefully) we should see the start of an upward climb at least towards the £4 mark! At least IAG is buying more shares back cheaply so we will all benefit! GLA!

Morning, two good post below, as a long term holder myself I also weigh up the challenges, I think with peace talks starting this week in Saudi Arabia, hopefully momentum builds over the coming weeks towards a path of long term peace. If this happens, i firmly believe the SP will start moving upwards om the hope of a longer term settlement and then when finally the airspace opens up back over Russia, more routes open up too. Hopefully for the sake of the world, we move to calmer times, its been very worrying, trading aside in the last number of weeks.

Any positive news towards piece in Ukraine and this will rocket! The problem at the moment markets in turmoil due to Trump!

Hopefully soon with a deal moving closer on ending war in Ukraine!

Good meeting with the EU Leaders by the sounds of it, hopefully moving towards positive steps on the road to peace.

Fri evenings event with Trump and Zelensky was unfortunate, non the less there seems to be a lot of momentum at the moment to move towards getting peace in Ukraine, I think a deal will be done this year, when that happens the SP here will lift off. I've loaded up on the anticipation, I think once ink signed on any piece process, the SP here will double quickly and with more new planes coming in e.g. A321XLRs flying new longer routes and we move towards getting over the back of the engine issue, we will see a big rerate here. in my view back to 30s and higher! What would it take to get back to previous highs towards the mid 50s?? GLA !!

Good post SS17 and good to see your writing here again! I think a deal will be done with Zelensky and Trump and then move towards a piece deal, there is a lot of momentum at the moment, key meetings later amongst the European Leaders, lets hope a positive step forward. In terms of IAG SP, I remain confident and invested, trimmed a little at 350 I'm confident year end we will be circa £5, as long as no new curve balls!!. GLA!!

I think if you also take into account the positive mood music from Starmer's visit and hopefully positive with Zalensky in Washington today and we should get a good boost in SP.

Hi All, for a bit of fun, what's people's thoughts for where the SP will be at close of play Friday? I'm quite positive, I will go with £3.50. GLA All!!

Next two days are big days, Starmer in Washington and then Zelensky and IAG results. We will soon find out if those who sold out and bailed called it right, I was close to selling some off and maybe I should have done but decided to stay put. It will be interesting to see where we are on Friday and then the following Monday. Any positive steps towards peace and we will fly here!! Take Off time I reckon heading towards the runway in readiness for solid results!! GLA holders be lucky!!

I think if the deal with Ukraine over the valuable minerals goes ahead as reports suggest with Zalensky coming to Washington on Friday and the Russians in favour of this and there is a path to peace will be interesting to see what impact Starmer will have on Trump, then hopefully with solid results on Friday a good bounce back. Not long now, fingers crossed for solid results and forward look too. GLA!!

In agreement, those forward bookings and the confidence level from the Chairman in what he says will be critical.

All depends on the geopolitical events this week with Israel not releasing Palestinian prisoners seize fire very fragile their and Macron and Starmer visiting Trump and now Zelensky offering to resign in exchange for NATO membership (unlikely to get). Also, alot will depend on news of debt reduction, forward bookings and any increase in dividends. It will be great if at the very least it goes back to previous highs!! Hopefully a better day today reading reports that Zelenskiy talks with US envoy went well and 'restore hope' for a strong agreement. Hopefully things have calmed down a bit!! Going to be an interesting week into the results! Fingers crossed their solid!! GLA!!

Absolutely, fundermentals of company haven't changed should be back to previous highs, just need wider influences to calm down a bit!!

A key for the update on 28 Feb, news on levels of forward bookings, debt reductions etc. I think the SP will rise from here but of course a bumpy ride with geopolitical events. GLA!!
