i think we have a few very big positives to consider:
- covid related markets for anti virus plastics - could be huge and not limited to covid but would be applicable to most viruses
- antibacterial food packaging - already FDA approved and shown to extend product shelf life
- biodegradable plastics - doesn't look like the need for plastic packaging is going away soon in light of recent events.
so we have FDA approved, anti viral , anti bacterial, shelf life extending biodegradable plastics on the horizon with SYM!
yes - seems like why would they bother with this if they were going under - looks like they are tidying up things for either fresh capital or funding
"Symphony's d2p products and technologies cover many applications including PPE, food packaging and water and irrigation piping. Unsurprisingly, given COVID-19, demand has increased significantly for anti-microbial d2p in PPE"
also states as of 30 June 20 the company does not expect to need to raise additional funds within 12 months
so a lot of other cos working on covid related products need to do trials and then get approvals. we already have FDA approval in place so once proved agaist covid which looks highly probable then the product can increase sales to mark instantly
im pretty sure it wont be down 500% tomorrow :-)
Don't forget the general food packaging applications. Anyone not familiar with this share should read the recent FDA approval for bread packaging and consider the implication across the food packaging sector. note the US bread market I think is approx. 21billion dollars a year so it only takes a fraction of a penny to SYM to mount up
was in SYM since 26p and still have a substantial holding there
had finger on buy button on MBO yesterday around 10p and turned it down as I didn't think the news warranted the rise that far! what did I know! definitely see a substantial rise here from this point today
yes fair point but I have seen it many times over the years - share taken off on good news - then the pull back as traders take a profit and LTHs exit then the big rise comes later in the day once new investors have had time to digest the news
