RE: Covid safe app15 May 2020 10:22
"After you download and install the app you’ll be asked to register your name (or pseudonym), age range, postcode and phone number"
Will you be able to provide a pseudonym for Catenae's "Cov-ID"GDPR compliant identity documentation app then ? Like you can on a coronavirus contact tracing app ?
"That registration information is stored encrypted on a government server"
Sounds pretty centralized to me, an Amazon server, no mention of a blockchain, Catenae claim all the information attached to their Covid Id documentation app is kept safe on the "blockchain"
"The draft legislation to support the app specifically makes it a crime punishable by five years in jail to force someone to download the app"
Can anyone see a company using Catenae's App & telling the employees they have to use it ? Let alone anyone paying Catenae to use this App.
"The draft legislation makes it a crime to store the data outside Australia, or communicate the data to someone outside Australia"
But wait weren't we supposed to be showing our Catenae Covid test status in other countries as we got off the plane?
"The source code for the app has been released by the government, which can show how the app works in practice, but there are calls for the server source code (which will show what the government does with the data) to be released"
Will Catenae be releasing their source code ? Is there any ? There must be because Catenae have shown their App to the Nomad and they're good to go! What does their Nomad know about Apps btw ?
Should people be using a newspaper article about a contact tracing App in Oz to ramp Catenae ?
