Yes the bounce up was rapid from 190s, quite impressive. I previously held these from around 175p though which seemed like a value purchase back then, but sold out in 240s concerned about the p/e. Subsequently the persistent weather related news, too cold then too hot..its just not a concern for online retail business models, and frankly it's wearing a little thin. I like the acquisitions the business has made & strong brands but ultimately the falling profits I see as due to particular susceptibility to a weakening macro environment so wary of the fairly high valuation here.

Sick of seeing BOD sells in AIM companies followed by Earth shattering news. FCA does nothing. Just look at LUCE end of last year..Hornby got massively enriched and three weeks later the bomb drops and CFO goes. Shareholders devastated again. Can't believe a word they utter.

So money owed to HMRC too. This smacks of the CVR debacle where they forgot about £30m in VAT due. May not return from suspension either. AIM is showing true colours once again.

Poor trading fourth quarter, blamed on the heatwave. Can't have helped but these on going profit drops confirm the significant retail downtrend. Div of 7.5p maintained this year, but looks increasingly precarious.

So two 10m trades marked as sells @240p went through early doors today, marked as sells, but I think maybe mms walked it down to pickup stock last week, let it recover and flogged the stick off to this buyer.

Looks like a determined drop today, is this simply being offloaded on recent poor sentiment here or is there specific news?

Nothing new showing on short tracker anyway. It's getting walked down pre-results, as usual.

This is one difficult stock to trade as often can't seem to get a buy or sell offer online, just NT.

Why should BOO be impacted though, assuming they do pay reasonable Corp tax on profits, VAT is charged on their UK sales, and they pay business rates on their UK premises. They will also pay employers NI...

Giving another chance to buy in the 1100s. Tech gloom killed off any rise towards the respectable dividend, very poor performance here recently with no significant news. Overall looks like it's lost recovery momentum and sinking somewhat..

And assuming they were buys they must already sting too as it touched 35.5p this afternoon. Lower lows. Wonder how the brokers listed on HL are apprently still 'neutral' on this.
