I think the only “legal issue” they are challenging is the valuation of the company, which the shareholders group believe is inaccurate.

My belief is that CINE aren’t stupid enough to have made any mistakes in what they’re doing and will have had first class lawyers all over it.

Is it legal what they’re doing - yes

Is it fair - no

They’re screwing the shareholders, paying off the “owners” and the business rises from the ashes making £££’s, so all in all it’s a shi* show but the creditors have all agreed on the action so poor private investors get sha**ed.

Believe he said he’d sold out completely and as gas as he could see there was no hope in his last one.

Probably no point continuing if you’re not invested, move on.

I contacted Cineworld investor relations and they have since found interest in my suggestion for shareholders.

The suggestion is for an 'I owe you' at future date to receive in return your share holding if the company hits certain share value. Could be your average or a fixed number. Then choice to remain as holder or to take your money and run.

Either way, you are not left with nothing. You will receive something when the company bounces back.

Here was the response from info at shareholders dot com

So you’re relying on their creditworthiness and reputation. Brilliant 😂😂 you couldn’t make this up.

Are you insinuating that Cineworld Investor Relations are liaising with the private Cineworld Shareholders Group to thrash out a deal?

IR will not be liaising with a private group of shareholders who are attempting to take the company to court to save their investment.

It’s not even IR’s job to come up with “a deal”
