Anybody been on the P&O Arvia ? Friends of mine back from a cruise (their maiden voyage) and said it was a horrible experience and they won’t be cruising again.

Food mediocre at best, absolutely rammed and all entertainment unable to cope with the numbers, small swimming pools with not enough loungers to cope and even though they took their son so expected children’s frolics said there were about 1000 kids constantly running around causing mayhem and destruction as they went……….

Just wondered if this was normal for the larger ships and whether a smaller one would have been a wiser choice?

RR dont do engines for single aisle do they? They do wide body aircraft, although I do believe they are in talks about entering that market........
