With POG’s mines / assets on the market for no doubt a hugely discounted price there is not going to be any spectacular figures coming from the disposal of the Russian assets.

Supply and demand. And Supply will drown out the prices. How often do you see so many mines being put up for sale.

Factor in Russia probably dictating the price the same way they did with Kinross.

Probably a good move to dump the Russian assets but it will severely affect the valuation of the company.

Nothing stopping them putting in a low ball bid to just buy what they want without the legal hassles of bankruptcy etc, which puts them at risk of waiting a long time to get their money or the assets.
