There is a clear difference between when they SHOULD do an RNS and when they are LEGALLY OBLIGED to do an RNS.

When and if discussions progress and it looks like a takeover is likely then they RNS as that will impact the SP from an “inside” point of view. FACT

If The Sun writes an article tomorrow saying that IAG are going to but Qantas, Singapore Airlines and Emirates an RNS does not need to be issued. Nothing has come from any involved company and it’s purely media speculation / bill sh**. FACT

I think you need to read up on the rules regarding when they are legally obliged to RNS.
