I am hoping this is dropping because of no news and not from insider information of sales not materialising. Whatever for long term shareholders it is frustrating and it is not acceptable that the company does not give more specific regular updates as I have lost count how many time ROW licences have been promised, plus no news on R&D developments. The HK licence unless this provides a gateway to the rest of China will be immaterial. If Forticin is that good surely we would have also seen some form of a Research note? Something just is not right and unfortunately the share price says it all.

Do not worry all completed, just waiting for the second payment as part of the distribution agreement to be finalised and receipt of another �16.5 million: Advanced Oncotherapy (AIM: AVO), the developer of next-generation proton therapy systems for cancer treatment, announces that in relation to the announcement dated 7 December 2017 and following the passing of the resolution proposed for the vote of the Company' shareholders on 23 January 2018, the Company has been informed by Yantai Cipu that the Chinese authorities have authorised the transfer from China of the �13,500,000 payable by Yantai Cipu for the subscription for 45,000,000 new ordinary shares of �0.25 each to be issued by the Company to Yantai Cipu (the "Subscription") at �0.30 per share (the "Subscription Price"). As a consequence of the completion of the Subscription by Yantai Cipu, and as detailed in the circular dated 22 December 2017 (the "Circular"), the placing of 10,868,782 new ordinary shares with new and existing investors at the Subscription Price (the "Placing"), as well as the conversion of the loan made by Swedish Investors by way of issue of 13,697,697 new ordinary shares (the "Conversion"), have also been completed.

He was part of the AB Segulah consortium so he has just gone over 3%, I am not sure what he held but the consortium also had 15.6 mln warrants with a strike price of 25p. Whatever he has bought to go over 3% is quite substantial and a good vote of confidence in the company.

It seems to me the company has lost interest, no media activity at all and I suspect insider knowledge that perhaps sales are no where near projected. It is a shame and personally I do not know if I should sell a substantial holding and take a small profit or stay a little longer. Many things do not add up especially as you have pointed out the massive trading volumes post UK launch announcement, no share options being granted since post UK launch which usually means insider information is still on going, no changes in underperforming senior management, radio silence from JM. Any idea when we could get another trading announcement?

Again AVO miss a timeline, this has been a regular occurrence over the years. Now momentum is negative, if only they would be more realistic in their time projections this share would be significantly higher now. However it would seem the announcement of the distribution agreement is imminent otherwise the board would have IMO set a revised date. Hopefully the share can recover and make up for delay.

IMO there has to be an announcement on Tuesday either confirming completion of the discussions and funds approved or a holding statement. Unfortunately everything always seems to be last minute or schedules missed, hopefully that is all behind us now but Tuesday with a positive announcement will see the shares do well if no news expect some retracement.

Very good question, I guess this is a case of once burned twice shy. Clearly it is going to require a much bigger news story to move this and I fear we will be many months to wait for that to happen. I just hope Recordati's faith in rolling this out across Europe is rewarded in sales numbers and then maybe we will see some action and the RWL coming on board. Hope that happens this year, the quicker the news the better the outcome and positive sales numbers.

I agree with you. Further it would be great to also elaborate on the patent advancement and development in the ED market, once progress on this is announced together with PE this could easily increase violently. There seems so much going on and very very little communication in terms of progress from the company which is honestly quite concerning. This time last year we were all very pleased to see progress and it was reflected in the unbelievable share volumes, today the company it seems is in a much better position with significant potential and I therefore can not understand why the share price is so depressed. I continue to hold a large position and happy having held PLE a number of years but the company also seems to have gone off of JM's focus. The fact that JM & company have not responded to shareholders inquiries is also some what disconcerting, albeit probably due to normal market restrictions. We can only hope that silence is golden and there are no more unexpected surprises!

Hi Pomander, I 100% agree that investors have not appreciated the pipeline opportunity. I highlighted this in my rare post of 5th October. It was good to read it again in the Company Overview that you have highlighted. Before the end of the year I am expecting news on RW licences, perhaps more developments regarding their proprietary technology with regard to developing a Viagra/Cialis failure product. I would guess lack of funding is the reason this has not been developed at this stage but that all changes as we enter 2018. This IMHO is a much much bigger opportunity if the reports of 50% of Viagra patients really do experience failure and that our technology could provide a remedy. What ever is developed in the future we can still expect to see significant upside in the share price from March onwards. GLA

I have not posted for a long time but I have enjoyed keeping up to date with the company and posts from messrs pomander, bignose, Alquemie etc...RP is a significantly large investment for me where I have enjoyed topping up significantly at levels I never dreamed of. Like many I have been waiting to hear the news this week and the price hopefully recovering from the debacle in increasing the dose to 12 from 6 and the prior licensing at 20 dose etc...buy hey this is not untypical of new pharma stocks. The good news is the fundamentals have not changed we have a block buster product that has another 5-6 years exclusivity and then unlikely to have a generic competitor for sometime after that. We have a �5 billion company in Recordati as a partner with a licensing agreement across Europe, we are in advanced discussions with other regions and we are progressing FDA registration due to be completed in approximately late 2019. IMHO we should expect a significant rise in the companies share price very soon followed by a meteoric rise by the middle of 2018. I therefore expect the company to now increase momentum and news flow, to hear progress on the ROW licences and hopefully also an update on new product developments which has IMHO been totally discounted. In Dr Wylie's presentation on 25th March 2017 he was discussing a further Commercial Opportunity in the treatment of Viagra/Cialis failures where in he described 50% of ED patients fail to respond adequately to PDE inhibitors. In his presentation he said: "There is a high probability that Regent proprietary technology similar to that used in Fortacin will lead to the development of a topical delivery formulation of this agent. The track to market or more realistically out-licensing will be relatively fast as 505(b)2 and there will be premium pricing as therapy for a special needs population. IP protection will be at least 15 years. " Now why would Dr Wylie mention this? My guess is they must be working on this. Clearly the priority has been in getting the revised license agreement signed with Recordati, �4 million in the bank and the company now having sufficient working capital to see it through to the European launch and further milestones, then progress other initiatives. So why has the share price hardly moved this week? Possibly one reason are the national holidays Monday and Thursday this week and I would guess many people taking extended leave. Tomorrow or certainly Monday I would be surprised not see see substantial volume increasing. Timing was not perfect for the company to announce the Recordati amended licence signed this week, I therefore have a suspicion that perhaps we will receive fairly quickly more news flow to gain the sort of momentum we saw when the UK launch was announced.
