Excellent news....CPD is a huge growth area and being able to target China & Asia with this aquistion is a smart move. I am never surpised by Jim Mellon. Completely unexpected but then it fits with Jim's plan for Regent Pacific. I would expect the shares to react very positively to this news especially as it is also fully funded, plus further progress on Forticin is also expected soon. I still recall P>O>M's strong thesis regarding the extraordinary huge volume of shares traded on the initial launch of Forticin and still wonder if there is still a potential suitor in the background? Cleaning up the company by divesting noncore assets now the Aus tax has been settled will make RP very attractive in the future.

I am really surprised by these recent RNS from their research partners, they read well but it is all old news there is nothing new. I would encouarge the company to be more factual and keep shareholders advised of milestone achievements confirming everything is on track. While I have no doubt everything is going to plan it would be better to have a technology update which is now approx 8 months since the last in October 2018. It seems the company is trying to stimulate the share price in advance of announcing the next technology update.....one has to ask why?

I am a little surprised by the delay in the tech update but heartend by the CCO Senior Management Appointment which would not have been announced IMO if the tech had been delayed in any way.
In addition I believe the company would have been duty bound to have made an announcement had the first quarter timeline been missed as this is part of previous announcements and would be classed as extremey price sensitive.
The market always seems to know what is happening and the share volume would not indicate that anything is off track with only small daily volumes trading.

Great news and quite unexpected, seems this was released as a prelude to a technical update and progress report. IMO all very posiitive with the best news still to come

6 months ago today the company gave its last technical update, it is time the company provided more news and updated research reports are published. Spring is in the air and hopefully in AVO

Patience required, looking at last year I would say we will get an announcement on 9th or 10th April next week. If the company would have been off track IMO we would already have heard. Achieving 230 Mev and confirming the installation is complete in Daresbury would be an immense achievement. I am hoping all is well and orders quickly follow.

Hi PM44, I have been an investor for much longer than you believe and a very long term holder! I am well aware of the time lines prior to Nicolas Serandour joining as CEO. However when I initially invested it was an early stage start up, virtually every start up has delays. The only point I am making is that the management team was transformed following Nicolas being appointed together with a board of top advisors and the very best professional advisors. So this is no coincidence to me. I have continually invested over the years and this is now one of my best share holdings.

What delays? There have been no delays since Nicolas Serandour was appointed CEO 20.10.2016.

Planning permission by Howard de Walden was approved 19.10.2016 and the company under the stewardship of Nicolas Serandour have been on track ever since he was appointed, in his first Investor Presentation on 6th March 2017. In that presentation there was a very clear time line where the company has since achieved ALL milestones the most significant being treating superficial tumors by Q3 2018 which they achieved. The first patient treatment by H2 2020 in Harley Street was set out in that presentation.

The company to date has therefore been on track and IMO hopefully will achieve the milestone due the end of this month, plus the Harley Street development seems on schedule anything else will require an immediate RNS.

I am also somewhat comforted by the significant due diligence that must have been undertaken by extremely well known investors and of course the investment announced 7th December 2017 of Yantai CIPU Medical Technology Co investing $30m. The most recent fund raising of $10m of 21st December 2018 was at 0.40p a premium to the share price at the time. So when the price falls well below this and based on the due diligence those investors would have undertaken I top up. I trust that explains my rationale I am looking forward to the next technical update. GLA

It was only on 12th February 2019 the company advised via twitter @AdvOnco :

" We're on time. We're absolutely on time for our milestones"

The next milestone completes the end of this month Q1 2019. It is a major milestone which includes the assembly site at the Daresbury Laboratory receiving all the components, this started as advised in the RNS 10th October 2018.
However more significantly the milestone due to complete this month also includes "LINAC components installation and testing at 230 Mev"
230Mev will be the maximum acceleration required for LIGHT, following which the installation will be transferred to Harley Street where shareholders have been advised the components will be installed and commissioned during Q2-Q4 2019, with regulatory approval and certification being done in parallel, The board and research reports also advise Harley Street is on track to receiving its first patient in H2/2020E.

I am looking forward to the next technological update IMO very soon and hopefully following this further updated research reports from Hardman and goetzpartners.

Looks like profit taking that is all and seems to be bouncing back. I picked up some more at 0.42 somehow and I see it is now 0.44p. It is good that the share is fairly tightly held and as you can see with relatively low level of share volume it moves a lot. Imagine what will happen when 230MEV is announced and all components are installed at Daresbury, followed by installation this year in Harley Street. Very exciting months ahead IMO

There was a purchase at 16,12pm of 99,093 @ 48.50p £48,060. I do not understand why the closing prices do not reflect this. Anyway looks like another good day on Monday.
I suspect we are very near to receiving another tech update and making nice progress to the £1.55p target price.

Great I love all this publicity! When LIGHT is installed in Harley Street later this year it will demonstrate how much smaller the system is compared to competitors like the Proteus One system and delivered at a fraction of the cost!

We're on time. We're absolutely on time for our milestones.

IMO nothing here to worry about, this project is backed by some serious well known investors, the entire board as well as terrific support from the Chinese who also have distribution into the biggest market in the world.

The Light system will be hugely disruptive to the entire proton therapy space with the first installation being installed within a listed building in the most iconic and famous private medical street in the world. This installation opens up immense possibilities where quite literally LIGHT will be able to be installed anywhere at a fraction of the cost of traditional systems.

IMHO 2019 will see even further major progress and bring the company ever closer to the £1.55 target price by goetzpartners, I am very happy to hold and be patient

This is very good news. I hope to see some good broker research notes soon as the company is now in a much better position with an exciting outlook. January we will also see the UK relaunched, while the share may well be volatile in the short term the pharma sector IMO is entering a very healthy bull phase. GLA

IMO This is further positive news being announced today....while the scheme was approved in July 2018 the entry point now for staff at 40p is likely to be the closest staff could buy to a floor in the share price. Whatever happens to markets in the short term the outlook for the company in 2019 is extremely positive IMHO and I am happy to hold and accumulate further as opportunities arise. GLA
