As an initial investor + buying more, where do you think that initial cash came from?

You know, the £13m that was raised and now they probably have around £5m left?

Where my money went was from an averaged down of 9p to 4.45.

You are still paying them, it’s your cash as share holders they continue to use, hence why the share price is going down the pan.

You know the company so well you spelt their name wrong! It’s La Mer.

Why do you keep bringing this company up? What’s next, Gucci / Prada, Jimmy Choo coming out?

Listing something as expensive doesn’t drive demand.

And then there’s people stating the company at £13m is under valued. Buy the dip. This is comical!

bUy ThE dIp - typical nonsense as usual. All that text and you’ve not given any new insight. Why buy the dip? What’s the sales like? When will it turn around?

DB was given the shares to float the company off his name. It was just to create demand for this listing. Can’t you see this? What a Gig the CBX initial owners / workers had. We’ve been paying their £100k + consultancy fees (AA was on 2.5k a week). Same with Peter Wall - He’s never mentioned CBX.

This has share raise written all over it. I’ve predicted May for the annual statements they may mention this as I am Guessing cash will be down to around £5m or say (May actual/ not Feb Year end data). It’s pocket change.

And what’s worse - no one has heard of CBX. Still. A year later.

Agree LGO as my comment history shows, that’s my prediction is a share raise due to cash burn.

Even then, I may not Jump back into this share again as I am worried they will just burn through that too.

Company is only known for the DB investment - it certainly isn’t known for their products or boards ability to deliver.

They are owned by Estée Lauder the last 25 years. I’d suggest any value will be linked to the experience and power of EL to get the shelf space they need.

20mg are classed as strong on LH website, they seem enough for me. (They also do 5/10mg options).

Not tried the oral drops from CBX.

I have been taking CBX and Love Hemps CBD pills since December to understand the impact on my body and thought I’d share.

Firstly - I was a sceptical surrounding CBD and only bought CBX first of all as I was a share holder, I have never taken CBD before.

Now - I am a convert and won’t be without CBD for my sleeping routine. I have found a sustained improvement in not only quantity of time sleeping, but also quality. I take tablets 30 mins pre going to bed and feel it is much easier to sleep.

What has surprised me though is the price difference per tablet. I decided to take CBX first and then trade down into a same strength Love hemp and I’ve not noticed a difference. CBX works out at £1.66 a tablet, LH £0.83. Both 20mg versions.

I know the tablets for CBX is a side hustle to help fill out the offering, but it is useful entry point into the brand.

For anyone who does struggle with sleeping patterns, do give the tablets a go! This will now be a permanent fixture for me.

Though to buy more CBX - they need to improve their price offering.

Sales figures in Feb RNS were below expectations (CBX words, not mine).

What makes you think sales figures are great? The 75 total reviews on Amazon (likely to be heavily investor comments to date).

Agree JG, assuming growth is plausible. Hence why I am still watching.

I want the price to be at 100p+ when it raises. Not at 2p.

I want CBX to turn around - But recent performance shows a dwindling demand for these shares.

Growth of expenses.

400k a month, then 600k a month. With Media activity this will grow further. As an illustration at 800k a month from mid Feb that less than 10 months, we’ve already done 1.5 of those months already.

You won’t do a raise when at 0. Hence why cash will run low. My guess - 22nd may for the annual statements they will raise the possibility of further investment needed.

Bitterness, It’s not a that what so ever. I’m actually glad I lost only 50% of my investment looking at current prices. I am gutted for people who have lost money, why would I gloat? You think I talk about my losses with pride?

We win / lose. This board has often been a place to ramp up with no substance. I’ve just shown to you why I believe a cash raise will be needed. Why wouldn’t you want to have such insight?

As an investor who has built up some knowledge of CBX the last year, I will watch with interest? Why, I still have money I can put in. But I am just putting my view down another raise is what I’d expect.

If you don’t, where is the cash coming from? Either an IPO or new Angel investor, either way that is share dilution.

1st September net cash was £10.32m, December 1st 9.15m. That’s a cash burn of 400k a month.

18th Feb 7.7m. In 2.5 months that’s a cash burn of £560k a month.

I’d say my 600k a month+ estimate is close to a real number.

It’s fact because it was in the 21st Feb trading update. Suggest you give that a read, but as you haven’t been bothered;

Point 1. They started with over £12m and now 7.7m and that was 6 weeks ago. So yes, 50% at a 600k+ cash burn is right.

The Company's cash and cash equivalent balances were £7.73m as at 18 February 2022. The Company has no long-term debt.

Point 2. Sales “ total revenues have been below internal forecasts.”

Results come out 22nd May - Another 8 weeks or so we will see. You lost all credibility the minute you believe DB is going to save the day. He’s not. He was given a free ride to associate him to the brand to encourage the IPO listing.

I lost £20k, been honest with that throughout. When I held my positions, I never stated the amount I had in to not influence my views.

Looking back on my history, I was one of the more balanced ones but throughout, I have stated the Brand name / no advertising / no activity was a concern.

Now what do we know.
1. CG have burned through half their cash and have 6 months before being in the red.
2. Sales are dreadful and no one still knows of CG.
3. Marketing has just started to happen - But not what we all thought or hoped it would be (Golden Balls etc, even though I didn’t believe it would happen).

So yes, dig your head in the sand, avoid other peoples critical points, it’s your money. I have stated I wish to be wrong. I don’t want anyone losing money as all will be as you can’t short it.

Most of the reviews will be investors.

No one is purchasing it as no one knows of CG. Even the advertising boards were vague.

They don’t have cash to have a sustained media campaign. They can’t afford to wait.

So angry I got into this and lost money, but glad I am out of it.

This has no where else to run aside from a cash raise to try and promote themselves out of trouble. Would you trust them with more of your money?

I certainly wouldn’t, it feels like the changes made though positive are a little too late in the day.

Add to that most will think CBD/CBG is an illegal drug just weed smokers use.

There’s only 3 main directors - 2 replaced in last 3 m and an FD who’s not given us any sales forecasts etc.

With regards to sales, they admitted that it’s been below internal expectations.

So, the two main individuals who brought CBX to market have now left the business. The Non execs are probably on the board just for their name and free shares to be associated to CBX for the initial public raise.

What a money maker for them this has been.
