I thought, wow, that’s good news out of the blue… then I read the email…

Aside from the share price collapse? It’s down 72% vs IPO 5p alone.

I’m not biting anymore, but this page has gone back to like it was at the start of the year. Unfounded optimism is much more damaging than trend based pessimism.

The issue is, the iceberg camp know we are currently in Greenland’s waters, where as the optimists think we are still in the Caribbean.

That’s the key thing dodge - They raised 13m£ by selling 260m shares at 5p.

If they wanted to raise that again, at say 1.3p (19% discount on current price) they would need to sell 1bn new shares.

I’d guess there won’t be an appetite for such a volume of listing (proven by low volumes at current prices).

I don’t want to be too negative, but I don’t think they can do such a raise again unless the SP changes fortunes.

If I was to bet - I feel there is more chance of existing shareholders walking away with nothing or even less than they currently have.

Could CBX still be in existence… I’d guess not.

Why would you prepay media - imagine for a slot at the next Super Bowl / Maybe an advertising campaign on TV (so pay to secure spot ahead of live TV).

A small company like CBX could have feasibly put £1m into the hands of media companies to align its media spots. As you haven’t received that service you’ve bought, it’s a prepayment.

It’s just my guess as I’d struggle to see what else CBX could put a prepayment for as that’s a big value.

As an example, if a utility bill for CBX for August was to be paid out in June, that prepayment goes into CA. It’s a payment before the activity is done.

So in this instance, Feb close, CBX could have paid for advertising campaign’s for March 2022 onwards. As the activity hasn’t been done yet it’s a prepayment for services due.

Agree candle with that terminology, it’s a prepayment for the media campaigns IMO that haven’t yet gone live.

I can’t remember the media company we have tied up with, but I’d guess it’s for that activity. Makes sense as Feb close there was next to no media campaigns done. My guess anyway

Prepayment - IMO is for Media activity - They stated this was prepaid previously, to what values is questionable. But, I’d struggle to think of another service you would pre pay for.

Thanks for the compliment, I’ve tried to be as honest as possible with my motivations. I am only still here not out of spite, but for the hope an opportunity arises.

Every comment on here is read - no one is filtered. 80% of it is useful, I May not agree with it, but I try to understand it.

I have a pet hate though for people who just say - This is going to pop, MM holding it back, buyers are loading up and then don’t back that up with anything :-)

Suggest you recheck the financials and ensure you include all relevant costs.

900k prepayment is offset by the £1m owed to creditors + accruals. Net nil.

So aside from this, holding of £500k of stock (which, I’m sure will soon have a provision against), shows next to no tangibles.

Intangibles. You could have stated - Brand, awareness, supply chain. But I would have just said that’s virtually worthless so far for CBX.

As for a patent application - yes it’s positive they feel they can patent innovation, but it’s worth next to nothing currently.

So what has that £8m spend got you - I can’t see anything of major substance that a “shed” start up couldn’t have done.

One last point - I want this share price to Recover! If I miss a bounce and it goes to 10p I’d be happy. Yes missed opportunity my end, but people who invested would be up. I’d then make an investment decision based on that latest news.

So - where’s the money gone?

What intangible assets do you think they have?

Cash needs to be put to GOOD use, not just used for the sake of it. My view CBX haven’t spent well and now the ability to alter course is restricting with every £ spent.

My focus on it is for a SP prediction. I think at 1.8p CBX are over valued. I think with 5m in the bank and minimal assets, realistically their value is around 1-1.5p and that’s reducing every month with cash gone.

So, my focus on a raise is;
When / how much / what’s it being used for that £13m couldn’t of helped with.

My long term view - CBX is a very risky investment (shock horror). But I’m watching to see if anything does change that warrants me putting money back in.

I won’t do that until I see either a change in approach / fortunes or the raise with explanation what they will do with it.

I’m expecting to pick up the shares based on current performance at below it’s current price point.

8m / 15 = £533k average a month since IPO
December to Feb (10 to 7.7m) was £540k
Feb to May worked out at £620k.

Cash - It’s called king because that’s what companies need to survive. It’s possible to have a thriving business, lots of profit, but if cash isn’t going into the business you are in trouble.

CBX don’t have that luxury. That’s why I don’t think debt raising is a real possibility as who would borrow them cash.

What they are burning through is the sale of their business to Private investors. An IPO that was done at the perfect time for a raise.

Since then, the worlds in a different place alongside the industry.

Sales growth would need to be monumental- maybe around £2m a month to offset the £600k cost base.

That isn’t coming soon.

The most important thing pre that cash raise is Sales / Demand / Followers / Likes. If they can create a demand, SP may rise as a result. But either way, they are coming back to market to ask for another handout.

At what price it is at, that’s the question.

Agree there’s variables.. but what we know is there’s minimal sales at the moment. I’m betting Media will ramp up. 6 months similar trend is fair to assume based on no material changes, it continues.

CBX are aware of cash burn, they stated costs are an important focus on the financial statements. Sensible.

But I can’t see the £600k burn being much different as they will now get desperate to turnaround those fortunes in sales. Yes, maybe less “consulting costs”, but I can’t see such a favourable low cost base suddenly appearing.

Cash is king - CBX have it at the moment, but they have burned through £8m in 15 months. They won’t raise at £0 in the bank, hence why I feel it’s coming in the next 6 months.

It’s linear - The cash burn from December to Feb was similar.

It’s a trend that is holding - CBX have minimal sales, it’s sensible to assume this isn’t going to turnaround.

Based on the boards logic, it’s fine guessing a share price, but shock horror when guessing a raising of funds point.

Raising of funds can be great for companies, don’t see and issue.
