I guess the market anticipates success on the guidance so far, written as conservative.

Next catalyst is FS. Who knows what the market will make of that, prior to 2028 first ore, is it, or later commercial production from Hav?

Telfer was always a derisking measure, a means to an end. Whatever from it is somwhst of a bonus, and it’s proving good, with capital expenditure Znewmont would not countenance.

In the round, I guess the hoi polloi will look at 2 - 3 years profit from Telfer, economic, profitable extraction to deal with the Hav FS, which will include costings.

Get a seller in, insufficiently liquidity to pick up the slack. And monkey see, monkey do, perhaps.

Not knocking the deal. It was essential for Ggp. And is working, and will work, better if Telfer processing facility can be fully utilised.

I’m just putting the rather obvious view, you cannot relate earnings, ie profit, on just Telfer.

Earnings will relate to the company as a whole, not just part of it, and cannot exclude capex.

Yes, Martin, but I suggest, I think not unreasonably, that doesn’t include, across the company, future capex for Telfer and Hav.

And I further suggest, it is once again, setting up rather vague expectations, against what is yet to come.

I don’t like the sp. Not one of those who so loves it to go down so they can buy more.

Nevertheless, everything around it, on what we’re told, is progressive in the ‘new frontier’, the future.

Should have come out as failed in its srategy.

Which is, to enhance a Telfer resource, and mine it profitably, to pay for Telfer resource costs and reduce amount and timescale of capex borrowing to bring Hav online, at reduced AISC.

Pretty simple, long or short term.

Increased profitable Telfer resource is what the markets looking for, prior to capex in Hav DFS.

I think it should be ignored., unless you think the company has it’s strategy, and future results will not help..

It’s piddly anyway, whatever the reason for it.

It’s unfortunate, whatever is said, Ggp management also came unstuck, and had to defend their position.

Nobody knows what the FS, DTM, will do to sp.

You just don’t know how the market comes to view things, and trade accordingly, not on a bb.

Still, there will be index buying, if not for September, then December, or later.

I had great hopes for my other mining holding, Amaroq, and still do but it’s just gone down and down for no apparent reason. I wouldn’t recommend it, way it’s gone on sp.

If I have any point, it’s maybe, realistically, us bb merchants don’t know a lot relative to sp, as it goes. Other strategies in play? Dunno. Buying exceeds selling, it goes up.

One would think, as previously advertised on here, Australian investors know about mining in their country.
