I’ll buy it, out of politeness, in the absence of other takers. It’s when you buy, or buy again and how much, on your own assessment. That’s individual, isn’t it.
My own view, may already have bottomed, or not, but I think it’s close. it’ll be cheap when times improve, or reports show its doing better than the gloomy market imagines - 170 should be easily achievable over time. So I’ve recently acted quite strongly on that basis. It’s a calculated gamble of course, it always is - but no good if you’re time constrained.
I’m still inclined to believe there may be Travis sellers complicating the issue, whilst Kingfisher complicated by buyback and apparently, shorting.

It has been very noticeable they’re increasingly getting into ‘social media’, as well as what may be regarded as traditional channels, such as eBay.

It’s written into Wickes LTIP dated 23rd. March 2021 which follows a pretty common format. It is a default position in the absence of other arrangements for tax payments, which if not followed at the time gets the option holder locked into the LTIP award holding period requirements, and a tax liability still to discharge.

But I realise you’re just posting that for the sake of it.

You refer to the no cost option exercise on that day, as opposed to the straight buy.
With regard to the options,
“Sufficient Shares were sold to meet the income tax and national insurance liabilities arising from the exercise. The net shares acquired will be retained by David Wood.”
It’s a perfectly normal and oft exercised choice. Doesn’t matter a jot to the company or the rest of us, and good for Mr. Wood, or he wouldn’t have done it, would he?

It’s just my own thoughts. Is there really anything they can’t do as a private company? Acquisitions and such may be supported by Mxc - they’ve thrown cash into it so far, kept things ‘inside’.
I just suspect that’s where it may be heading, is all.
Truth is, I don’t know, do I, no more than anybody else.

And, as I’ve mentioned before, I can’t see any reason why this should remain listed.

It seems hard to square that summary and outlook with the reality of the situation as reported, or going unmentioned - talk of EBITDA whilst interest payments are rolling up, and the amount of time being taken to agree something on the loan notes amongst the few interested parties. And we have the strange taking of a loan, not repaid to MXC ( executive director Smith’s own investment vehicle )by the expected date for whatever reason, and they, Smith if you like, simply say

Only mention of Mxc looking to convert to equity in that one, and more to convert from the loan. If it continues like that, probably requiring FCA consent without a bid, it’ll be approaching private company status sort of thing.

It’s all a bit rum, I think - but I’ve sort of convinced myself Mxc have something in mind for Ide.
