But this is what was said, which apparently you understand, with Panama giving no other reason.

I think this SP IS playing in SD's favour…….
but maybe when it is publicly low (as it is now) a low premium is all that's required in the case of an offer from whomsoever.

So what is it? Company sale, get placing away, or what?

Well, I don’t see much encouragement in those posts for pi’s, whatever they add up to.

What is the right one - save getting a placing away at a lower price.

Panama. So you think the low sp suits Mr. Day in attracting an offer for Ggp, or somehow Havieron.

I get the conversation, but if the strategy surrounds thinking Ggp’ll get it cheaper because NCM don’t know what they got, I think it’s no strategy at all, around possible Hav purchase, publishing of MRE or not.

I mean, Mr. Day has pretty much laid his options out for all to see.

Is that the share price suggested Ggp wants to keep low “for obvious reasons”. If that is what’s meant, what are they?

I know what you’re saying Dip, but Newcrest will know MRE/potential value before Ggp do I think - we’re well out of date on reserve estimates, and anybody interested in bidding will know that.

Mr. Day can’t be accused of downplaying Ggp as potential buyers of Havieron!

Mr. Day addressed the matter of accretive dilution himself, to progress the company, so talk of it can scarcely be regarded as premature. At the moment it is an unexercised option on his own agenda, according to opportunity.

They will have to gauge a price range too. It’s a professional exercise in itself.

Eventually, it may be that a book runner will be appointed consequent upon a decision to issue new shares, and there will be a need to have a basic knowledge of who may want what, to speed the process over a limited time period, particularly if a large number are to be issued.

Mr. Day has said they’re ‘tapping up’ institutions, and banks, in the event of a fundraise. When they have a habit of coming in - nothing to be gained for them by pushing up the price.

If H is what it’s cracked up to be, it’s not an unknown speculative purchase of 70%, if it can be achieved. So I’m behind it, if it comes to pass. Sums will be done, it’ll be in the figures, but Telfer complicates it for me due to unknowns at this time.
And if Ggp sees 70% as being accretive, then I imagine somebody else, Newcrest/ Newmount or another, might take the same view of acquiring 100%.

Peeling all the crap away, as it stands either Newmount will want 100% of Hav and Telfer, or they won’t.

Company needs cash. Company issues new shares. Dilution has occurred. Company uses money to buy assets. Assets perform. Company grows. Everybody happy. Usual thing. Very simple.

I might get castigated for it, but whatever else Redtrader said he saw potential around a fair deal between 70% + Telfer owner, and Ggp to mutual advantage, with decommissioning costs coming into the equation ( pushing those costs down the road for Ggp ) I see room for that thinking.

There are in betweens, certainly, but following on from Tygra's most informative post from what he learned Mr. Day thinks either 30% goes to the 70% + Telfer owner, or vice versa. If anything happens, and Ggp is to profit from it.

After all this he said “we really want Telfer”
He needs Telfer, if he's going after the 70%, as part of a package. The 70% and Telfer are pretty much one entity, I think it's agreed.

That must be true. And it should be watertight. Nothing should have been left to chance when the JVA was signed.
