I don't know what it is but girls seem to work really hard and get good grades - it's little wonder the majority of applicants for medicine, dentistry & veterinary medicine are girls. Your daughter's gcse results are very good and the three sciences + maths are similar to what my Daughter & Son did. As for your son, your in for an interesting time 15 to 19 is a critical period for a boy with so many hormonal changes taking place. They tend to grow big and strong and discipline can be an issue as can keeping the amount of time they spend on computer gaming within limits - mind you that applies to adults too lol. Good luck with them - it's good that you won't stand any nonsense at home but this may become harder to do as the years progress! Your son's lucky that he's good at golf and good with his hands - great sport and nothing wrong with being good with your hands. Boys can be slow developers accademically so you never know, 15 is still young. I'll ask my daughter if she took part in the open day - she's coming home for a few days. I see you have dogs, my daughter loves dogs - she's at Liverpool uni studying Biovetinary Science. Your point regarding fees is a good one - I feel really angry at the new fee structure in England. Had I been living in Scotland things would have been so much better. She recently received word from the Dick Vet in Edinburgh that she had been accepted - the only small problem was the fees - £23,500 tuition fees per year for each of 4 years! Add on accommodation, living expenses etc and the total is way above what I can afford. So sad. It's considered a second degree rather than an extension to her studies and as such full fees are payable. My Son's at Leeds doing a financial degree - he's having a great time there - the social life is particularly good! Liverpool also has an excellent social scene. I guess you'll be none too pleased with the change to the university fees proposed by the coalition. Why punish the kids when they're trying to make something of their lives? Rant over but I'm not pleased and feel particularly sorry for teenagers from low income families - some won't go to uni as they'll be too frightened to take on the debt. AS exams this year for your daughter - a very important year - hope she's good at revising. What stage is your son at? I understand what you mean about your eyes - if your eyes are bright it's a good sign and vice versa; at least you've had a few laughs over the past days which must have brightened them lol. You're right about my daughter - she's at university at the moment and finishes this year: I have a son who's also at uni but in his first year. Wonder why you thought I was younger than you - on these boards a person can be anything from 16 to 90 however you'll be able to work out that I'm quite some way from the lower age bracket lol. I live north of York and although my roots are in Scotland I am at home in England, support Man Utd and know the England football players much better than the Scotland ones however there's no need to ask me where my loyalties lie when the two countries meet. Looks like Andy isn't going to make it but hope he proves me wrong.

On the lse page which appears first, you will see under the graph a row of data starting with SEDOL,Currency,Issue Country, Shares in Issue and finally Capitalisation. currently at £2298.63m or approx £2.3Billion. BBY is known as a mid cap company. BP. is currently at £91,505.76m or £91.5 Billion - a large Cap Company & RBS is currently at approx £25.0 Billion also a large cap company. Check it out.
