Definitely a man who has a vision and a plan to achieve it. You get the feeling he is one of if not the top man in Philippine mining and has the respect of his peers.

Seeing as the IOUs are worthless you could easily have sold your CNR shares in between the deal being announced and CNR being delisted. There was plenty of buyers me included that would have snapped your shares up. In the last few days you couldn't buy any CNR of any volume I know that as fact as I tried a number of times. What did the company secretary say to your email I'm pretty sure Drachs will have them. They do need to be real though not just in your head.

Surrey you bore me. You could quite easily started unloading your position since the dreadful deal was announced in December. Now 3 months later you could easily have been out with out having too much effect on the share price. Alternatively you could simply email the company secretary to arrange a private deal with a major holder who would almost certainly taken them of your hands with no impact to the share price. You have done neither other than suggest you couldn't sell them in an afternoon. You are a fool you have no or very few shares

Been away for a couple of weeks finding winter sun and I can see our resident idiots are still at it. Surrey is a fantasies and doesn't have the shares he claims he has whilst Broom is just a gambler not an investor (just check out the rainbow chasing shares he comments on). Neither are worth responses as they live in their own worlds. Those of us invested know how well Darren and his team have done over the years and we will continue to support them unless they give us a reason to think differently.

Good idea Broom you seem happier in the jam tomorrow double your money in a week AIM stocks. Some people are happy to wait and reap real returns i.e investing others like to gamble for a quick buck. Sandpit is lovely by the way

No point in trying to have a sensible discussion with Broom as no matter what he is always right. He is an expert inverter far better than anyone else on here. You may think you have a grasp of Metals but if it doesn't fit in with Brooms view then you are wrong. Oh and his dad is 6ft 9 and much tougher than yours.

Well said JH. Lee has posted consistently over a few years and these posts have helped me and my understanding of the company and it's prospects. There is nothing wrong with being bullish if that is how you feel. Since the recent takeover there has been some scepticism of the company. There is nothing wrong with this either as the some of the new holders don't yet fully trust Metals. I understand this. In time I think those people will and Lee posts suggest the possible reasons why.

In the meantime those suggesting Metals supporters shouldn't shout out their support in their loudest voices as we have done for the past years have no right to do so. Lee keep posting. The doubters will eventually either sell or be converted.

Hey Lee. I remember Darren saying in the investor presentation Feb 22 "hopefully the gold price will get to $2100 and everyone will be very happy" . That comment has always stuck with me and is one of the major reasons I have held and added over the past couple of years. Darren was very happy with $2100 and today we have that plus another nearly 40%. He must be ecstatic now
