I have noticed numerous £20k buys over the past few weeks with plenty again Friday and already started today. Now this may be PI using ISA allowance but my gut tells me it isn't. Most PI will have already used their allowance back in April. I certainly did. Obviously some will hold back or may come into the money but the volume of £20k buys is very high. I have a feeling another TRI 1 will be along in the next few days. GLA

Melon has sold 130million shares since the takeover. Meanwhile the share price has practically doubled. This illustrates the strength of this company. Just imagine how the price will pop once Melon runs out of shares or decides to stop selling. GLA

My favourite part was Darren nearly bringing his breakfast back up at the thought of selling any of his shares at the moment. "I'm not selling any and neither are the other major holders" and why would Darren thinks we should be 25p already and double that when Dupex is confirmed. Exceptional presentation. GLA

I agree he's been prattling on for weeks now same boring nonsense. Nobody can be 100% sure of golds future direction but the general consensus is it's going to continue to go up for various reasons. Metals is ideally placed to benefit from golds strength we benefit more if gold goes up and less if it goes down.

Let's look forward to Darren's update tomorrow in which no doubt he will be concentrating on Metals future prospects which he can influence and plan for and not the direction of gold which he can't. GLA

On the 29th Jan we were told that Mellon held 216million shares now he holds 95million. During the same time the share price has increased from 5.3p to 9.3p that's approximately 80% higher. A major holder reduces his holding by 120million shares and the share price grows by 80%. If that doesn't feel you with confidence for the future then I don't know what will. GLA

Same reason why people have been piling into Rolls Royce,BAE etc We live in very uncertain times. Nobody wants war nobody wants financial chaos but when such things are inevitable any sensible investors tweeks his/her portfolio accordingly. Very naive to think otherwise
